GO EVENT (OVER): Special Battle Showdown (May 1st - May 14th, 2018)

Hello, everyone! Another event for Pokemon GO was announced just today, called the Special Battle Showdown. From May 1st (1:00 am PDT) until May 14th, the following bonuses will be available:

• Fighting-type Pokémon, such as Machop and Makuhita, will be found more frequently in the wild.
  
• 2x XP for Gym Battles and Raid Battles.
• Raid Battles will give a guaranteed 3,000 Stardust for participating and at least one Rare Candy if the battle is won.
  
• Spinning a Photo Disc will give additional items
• 2× Badge XP
• Shiny Makuhita and Meditite appear in the wild.
• Raid Bosses added. Level 2: Combusken, Primeape. Level 3: Breloom, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee. Level 4: Poliwrath

The following boxes are also available:

• Special Box (480 Coins): 2x Lucky Egg, 6x Premium Raid Pass, 2x Star Piece
• Great Box (780 Coins): 6x Lucky Egg, 5x Max Potion, 9x Premium Raid Pass, 6x Star Piece
• Ultra Box (1480 Coins): 4x Super Incubator, 15x Lucky Egg, 15x Premium Raid Pass, 15x Star Piece
