Kanto: Raichu.
Runners up: Charizard, Dragonair (specially the shiny), Wartortle

Johto: Typhlosion
Runners Up: Houndoom, Noctowl , Umbreon

Hoenn: Sceptile
Runners Up: Altaria, Crawdaunt, Blaziken

Sinnoh: Staraptor
Runners Up: Infernape, Torterra, Empoleon (This Gen made the excellent Starters!)

Unova: Excadrill
Runners Up: Serperior, Dewott, Chandelure

Kalos: Greninja
Runners Up: Aegislash, Noivern, Sylveon

Alola: Silvally
Runners Up: Ninetales-Alola, Raichu-Alola, Marowak-Alola

My favorite region is Hoenn because (at my opion) that region have the most beautiful soundtrack of all, and my favorite song of all time are on that region, my favorite song is the Rival song battle.

Going to prohibit myself from naming legendaries here. Ho-oh, Deoxys, and Lunala get special mentions regardless!

Kanto: I think I'd have to say Starmie. Always loved its color and design.
Johto: Feraligatr, Espeon, and Crobat. I don't care if I can't pick more than one!
Hoenn: Sceptile, Gardevoir, and Metagross. I'm gonna stop myself here, or I'll be here all day.
Sinnoh: Garchomp. The mon, the myth, the legend.
Unova: HYDREIGON. Hydreigon all day, every day! Such a well designed Pokemon.
Kalos: Aegislash. Kind of cheap to use in Singles, but Singles aren't my favorite playstyle as is. Also massively fun to use.
Alola: Of the Gen VII originals, I'd have to say I'm tied between Tsareena and Sensu Oricorio. But I'm all about A-Ninetales!

Favorite region: easy to narrow it down to the first four, but if I had to pick one, I guess Hoenn probably. Johto and Kanto don't feel complete without each other, and I didn't like Sinnoh until Platinum.

Favorite region: Unova. I thought I had favorites from each region. Then I met a pair of Automatons who showed me what it really means to have a favorite. I didn't think I could adore a Pokemon so much until I met those two...
