I was fully expecting a food based Pokemon, but I wasn't expecting such a funky little dude. Their flavor text makes me love them even more

Fidough's moist, smooth skin has elastic qualities and is both firm and soft at the same time. When these Pokémon become excited, they intimidate their opponents by puffing up their bodies to appear bigger.
Fidough ferments things in its vicinity using the yeast in its breath. Said yeast is useful for cooking, so this Pokémon has been protected by people since long ago.

I think Fidough's name comes in part from filo/phyllo, a thin dough used in Middles Eastern and Balkan pastries.

I have to say, the names for this generation's Pokémon have been on point so far. If we don't get a purebred joke for any evolutions then I'll be a little let down.

Not only is this Pokemon cute, but it's surprisingly creative despite its simplicity. You also can't go wrong with the Fairy typing so I'm interested in trying it out.

It’s such a cutie!

Wouldn’t it be cool if it had a split evolutionary line and the different typings are based on different types of bread? Like cinnamon bread for a part fire-type or banana or some other fruit for grass? Either way, I’m pretty excited to see how this lil’ pup turns out.

Personally predicted that this guy was gonna be the meme of the recently revealed new creatures this time round and am surprised that it isn’t (or at least, not on Pokecommunity where nobody seems to like it for some reason)

As for me, neutral as of now, but I feel like it’s gonna have a really great evo unless they screw it up.

BREAD IS GREAT AND THE DOGGO IS CUTE. Do not hate the bun puppy. They are babies. Dinner roll croissant babies. Gooey and not yet cooked fully. ...Oh man I wonder what its evolved, probably fully baked, form will look like.

Fidough, where do i begin? He's bread (perfect), he's a dog (even better), and he looks like a gentle soul. I would love to see a plushie of that little fella. I would buy it so fast, you have no idea. I mean like really fast. Quick attack that add to cart. Just one more thing, I want 50.
