Final Pokémon Masters EX Dev update for 2023 announces new Neo Champions event for Christmas Eve, plus a Christmas gift of gems and a Galar Egg Event

The final monthly message for 2023 from the producers of Pokémon Masters EX has announced a a pair of new events, a new sync pair, and a special Christmas gem gift, all of which will be coming to the game over the next few days. Another developer letter is scheduled for just over a week from now, on January 1st, which will share information about events and rallies starting in 2024.

A New Neo Champion makes their debut!
A new Neo Champion Sync Pair, Rosa (Champion) & Meloetta is being added to the game tomorrow, December 24th, in a new Master Scout, which will run alongside a brand new Story Event, Neo Champions: A Touching Sepia-Toned Song. The scout will be available through to January 28th, 2024, at 9:59pm (PST).

A Special Battle Event and an Extreme Battle Event, allowing players to challenge this new sync pair, will also be running.

Rosa (Champion) & Meloetta are a Support Sync Pair with a Sprint EX Role. The pair makes use of two separate Formes in battle, the Psychic type Aria Forme and the Fighting-type Pirouette Forme, which they can switch between using their Buddy Move or Sync Move. Every time they switch Formes, their Relic Nostalgia Passive Skill causes them to increase the Physical Moves ↑ Next effect and Special Moves ↑ Next effect of all allied sync pairs by 1 rank. They can also increase these effects by two ranks when using their Ode to Glory! move, increasing Physical Moves ↑ Next when in Pirouette Forme, and Special Moves ↑ Next when in Aria Forme. Additionally, they'll also reduce opponent's Psychic or Fighting Type Rebuff by one rank the first time they use a Move against an opponent in Aria and Pirouette Forme respectively.

A Glimmering Night of Gifts
Between December 24th at 10:00pm (PST) and December 30th at 9:59pm (PST), all players will be able to claim a 3,000 gem present as part of a special log-in bonus.

Galar First Partner Pokémon Egg Event
A new Egg Event will commence on December 26th, giving players an opportunity to partner up with the Scorbunny, Grookey, and Sobble, the first partner Pokémon from the Galar region. No information about how long this event will run for has been provided at this stage.
