First look at Ruler of the Black Flame expansion for the Pokémon TCG, releasing in Japan July 28th - More SARs from PC151 expansion also revealed

As part of today's live stream for the Pokémon Japan Championships, Pokémon TCG fans have received their first official look at the long-anticipated Ruler of the Black Flame expansion, the Japanese equivalent of the Scarlet & Violet - Obsidian Flames expansion that was announced last month. The Ruler of the Black Flame expansion will be launching in Japan on July 28th.

A concurrent update on the Japanese official Pokémon Card Channel on YouTube today discusses many of these newly revealed cards in detail, including brand new Pokémon ex. Also revealed today were Special Art Rare variants of select cards from the upcoming Pokémon Card 151 subset, which will be released in Japan next week on June 16th.
