Full details released for Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore and associated Pokémon Air Adventures event

Niantic has released full details on the upcoming ticketed Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore event, which will be running concurrently with the Pikachu Weekend in Singapore from November 18th to November 20th. In conjunction with these events, a Pokémon Air Adventures event will also be running for Trainers in Singapore.

Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore
Gameplay for this event can only be experienced within the designated space at Gardens by the Bay. There is no global gameplay component available for this event.

A short event-exclusive Special Research story will be available, along with event-themed Field Research. Trainers can encounter Pikachu wearing a safari hat by completing these Field Research tasks.

The following event bonuses will be available for ticket holders within the event space on the day and time indicated on their event ticket:
  • Four additional Special Trades can be made during the event for a maximum of five for the day.
  • Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust.
  • Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for eight hours.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for four hours.
  • Buddy Pokémon will have an increased chance of finding Souvenirs, including an exclusive paper airplane Souvenir.
The following Pokémon will appear in the wild throughout the event space on the day and time indicated on Trainers' event tickets:

Tickets can be purchased at this website on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. There are two types of tickets: General Admission tickets granting access to gameplay within the event space at Gardens by the Bay from 12:00pm to 6:00pm local time on the day of choice are available for SGD$17. Early Access tickets cost a little more at SGD$25, and give access to the event starting from 10:00am local time. Trainers will only be allowed to purchase tickets for one day of the three-day event, and all tickets are non-refundable.

Pokémon Air Adventures event

For Trainers in Singapore only

All Trainers in Singapore will be able to enjoy the following event bonuses between November 18th and November 20th:
  • Mega Latias and Mega Latios will appear in Mega Raids.
  • Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently in balloons.
  • Pokémon Air Adventures stickers will be available.
  • Confetti will appear on the map.
The following Pokémon will also be appearing more frequently in the wild throughout Singapore from November 18th to November 20th:
  • Pikachu wearing a purple T-shirt (flower) ⁂
  • Flying Pikachu with purple balloons ⁂
  • Lapras ⁂
Based on past Pokémon Air Adventures events, it is expected that Pikachu wearing a purple T-shirt (flower) will continue to appear throughout Singapore for approximately one year after the event has concluded.

For Trainers worldwide
Timed Research will be available that grants encounters with Purrloin when completed. A selection of Pokémon Air Adventures-themed stickers will also be available to all Trainers globally between November 11th at 8:00am to November 20th at 8:00pm local time. Trainers can receive these stickers by spinning PokéStops or opening Gifts.
