Speculation Future pricing for Pokemon on Switch: 40 or 60?

$60 would be way too much considering that you will have to pay to access online. A significant portion of Pokemon is online and now you're going to have to pay for it so the price needs to be adjusted to compensate for that. Sticking with this nonsense of two versions would be even more unacceptable. Pokemon's business model must change. No more third versions either. Game Freak must do DLC. There is simply no excuse for charging full price for what is basically $10 DLC.

It has been stated time and time again that not ALL Switch games only used the paid online services. There will be games capable of utilising online features even without the subscription.

How is sticking with two versions unacceptable? That has always been a staple of the core series games. The entire point of it was always to get people playing and trading together in order to 'catch em all.' That is unlikely to change.

Exactly. The games were conceived with a social aspect in mind. You take away trades and battles, and you take away Pokemon at its very core.
 
The Switch is expensive where i am. Over 500 dollars. Then you have to add the game amount which is usually 80 dollars.
