Gen V events that unlock something in XY?

In gen IV we had the shiny beasts and nasty plot celebi that unlocked stuff in BW, namely the only ways to get Zorua or Zoroark at that time. There was also the unreleased lock capsule which would have gotten you tm95, snarl. So do you hope/think they do this again for XY with events already or yet to be released, or do you wish they abstain from it at all costs? Would another exclusive pokemon be allright again or would you wish they unlock something different this time around?

Personally I thought it was pretty awesome that the seemingly normal events unlocked something in hindsight, and I'd be pleasantly surprised if the same thing happened for for instance the Meloetta or Mewtwo events. Maybe this time unlock an exclusive area or something rather than just pokémon.

Mewtwo might unlock something, seeing as his event is analogous to the shiny Beast and Celebi events in HGSS which unlocked Zorua and Zoroark in BW1.

I did some thinking and I do agree that the only thing I see a possible Event Mewtwo doing is a secret event in XY.

I hope that it's something beyond a very tiny event like Zorua/Zoroark turned out. Talk to a boy get a Zorua; go to a trailer get assaulted by a random Zoroark. I'm hoping for more eventful events. Stuff that is more detailed than in past. Like how with most DLCs in games have a story that you have to follow through, I want that. Make it worth the event, beyond just some slightly rare Pokemon that looses its hard-to-get-ability after a week thanks to the world wide length trading has taken. That's the only reason I don't get involved in most of the events. It just doesn't seem worth it. Yeah you get a rare Pokemon but...ehh. *shrugs*

My event mons always end up sitting in my boxes, nothing to do.

But yeah, as @RemainsToLinger mentioned, I'd want an extra story for the event Mewtwo, if not only for the fact that I want Mewtwo to have a supporting role on X and Y.
