Ermm, Well Ground and a rock gym, im not complaining but there basicly the same? and maybe some pokemon you cant get at that level like faulkners level 8 pidgeotto?
And i would be amazing if there was a double battle gym leader i mean that would make a nice twist and make it much more of a suprise.

The only problem I see with that is that usually leaders tend to have a pokemon of a higher level than the rest, and/or two of a less high but still higher level. (like 36, 35, 36, 37, 40)
Or a few extra, underleveled in comparision pokemon (such as 33 in that case)

The champion would be much higher than the elite 4. If they are 50-65, he'd have them around 70.

Because let's repeat RuSa's Champion shtick. That's original. The fact they didn't do what everyone predicted is the better route.
