Could that little thing on the corner be a pre-evolved form of Gogoat ?

I think that might just be some decorative plants. Unless it moved in the video?

No, that is for certain a Pokemon of some sort and it has a white face unlike Gogoat who has black/brown markings on it's face.

It is a possibility, but I doubt. The "thing" seems to have a body and white feet. Also, the color scheme is the same of Gogoat, except for the lack of brown on its face.

It looks like it could be a pokemon. They both look like they have leaves around their neck, and a white face with brown down it.

Maybe we get the starters at level 1 this time then?

There's another potential "New Pokemon"...

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

A shadowy figure blows around in the background on the right side, shaking the leaves to the left. Some sort of hint at a New Pokemon?

Re: Revealed Gen VI Pokemon Discussion/Speculation Thread

Serebii made a notice that Pancham's French name exceeds the 10 character limit (Pandespiègle), and that Parabolic Charge exceeds the 12 character limit (it has 16).

Some kind of weird mistake, or is names (finally) getting an expansion? If so, that is awesome.

EDIT: Oh, derp, seems this was already brought up in the Corocoro thread.

It wasn't in the video, but if you zoom, they don't look like plants, well at least to me anyway.

Yes, because the Pre Evolution has to have the same markings.

That kind of irks me, but yeah it could be.

@Tendou Soujirou; where? I can't see it.

Behind the slideshow of images, a shadowy figure goes down the Y side and then to the right as it fades.

Hmm. It'd be interesting if we did obtain the starters at Level 1, but I can't see Game Freak deviating from that tradition now even with all of the starters learning a STAB offensive move at Level 5.

Hmm won't this make the first rival battle really tough? If there is one, that is...

In Chespin's case, it can learn Rollout at Level 8 at the latest to counter its weakness to Fire. If the rival battle isn't obligatory near the start of the game, prepare to level grind until the rival battle does take place.

Re: Revealed Gen VI Pokemon Discussion/Speculation Thread

WOW!! The trailer revealed so much! But, belonging in this thread is the new Pokémon in action. They all look fabulous, especially Helioptile. If it was already my favorite Pokémon of the bunch, seeing its extended frill in full glory, now there's noo doubt it'll be the second member in my team (the first one being my starter, of course).

Chespin learning Rollout at Level 8, with the others learning different moves, kinda gave it a big advantage, don't you think? Also, Froakie with Quick Attack makes me think this time it'll be the speddster of the starters. That's interesting...

AAAAAAND... The site update includes everything, every little detail, about each and every new Pokémon, including type, yet they still skipped Sylveon, which still has ?? markings. Pretty much the last confirmation it is a new type. I mean, why ignore it when all of the new Pokémon relealed up to this day have their types revealed?

Well they can't exactly update Sylveon's type until it is officially announced. No matter how much evidence and how likely it is Sylveon is a new type, nothing is confirmed, and the Pokemon site isn't going to put up an unconfirmed type. The question marks there isn't really by choice.

The fact that Chespin learns Rollout is quite interesting as to where it's evo line may go.

Also, Quick Attack Froakie hints speedy, but not necessarily.

Eh, I don't see Roll Out as hinting towards anything in particular. Hedgehogs are known for their ability to roll up into balls, hence Roll Out.
