With such a badass evo as Goronda, Pancham just got a place in my team. The first one to get that.

I would've preferred Xerneas to be Fairy/something, but I can live with it.

Maika and Karamanero, look great imo and their typing just blew me away. My favorites of this batch.

I love the squids, especially the fact that they're Dark/Psychic! The two new fairies were alright, but not exciting. But Goronda... Goronda is my personal favorite of the batch. It's Pokedex entry proves that Dark-types can have good in them. :D

Re: Revealed Gen VI Pokemon Discussion/Speculation Thread

I wouldn't quite call Xerneas cute and girly. Peaceful looking I guess, but not girly

Besides. Only males have antlers anyway. Lol

Tell that to Sawsbuck. Oh my god, I still think that was such a bad decision. They had the opportunity to make Sawsbuck have gender differences BUT no.

Anyway, I love the new Pokemon! The introduction of Dark/Psychic makes me hope there will finally be a Water/Fire Pokemon. Also, I want Shushup to evolve into a plague doctor flamingo, MAKE IT HAPPEN. Pancham's evolution is awesome. I never liked Ursaring and Beartic, but this guy.. woah, I think it will end up in my team.

I like them all except Karamanero. It just doesn't look like a Pokémon.

Here we go... Why do you say that? Karamanero does look like a Pokémon to me.

Idk, it just doesn't fit with the others. I think all the other gen VI fit except this one. But it's not a big deal, I just won't use it even though I like the pre-evolution a lot. I'm glad it's not a Water-type btw, we have enough of those.

Lol, wat? The Pokémon from the first gens basically define what a Pokémon is.

If that is the case, you can't really say that a new Pokémon like Karamanero doesn't look like one. If Voltorb looks like a Pokémon, might as well say that anything does.

Re: Revealed Gen VI Pokemon Discussion/Speculation Thread

When new Pokémon are revealed, there are always people complaining some of the newer ones don't look like Pokémon. This has been the case since Gen III, if not earlier.

A Pokémon is whatever Pokémon creators think it can be. If some day GF decides Pokémon are all like giant mecha firing laser donuts wearing tutu and speaking some dialect, then Pokémon will be this. If Pokémon takes a path nobody likes, fans would go, but Pokémon still would be Pokémon. Because GF would want. We're just fans, we have nothing to define. We buy merchandise, play games, watch anime, etc.

Re: Revealed Gen VI Pokemon Discussion/Speculation Thread

Holy hell even the exclusives are themed! Theory is around the net:
X exclusives are clauncher and cotton candy. Happy Pokemon that are lively.
Y pokemon are deadly, deal with dark themes. Skrelp is poisonous kelp and puff bird is a plague doctor mask inspired bird, and the perfumes it creates echoes the perfumes said doctors used to mask the stench. Man, concept wise the Pokemon are fucking class A, thoughtout creations of unbridled imagination.

Party potencial favourate pokemon designs so far:

Goronda, Honedge, Sylveon, Talonflame and Fennekin.

Anyone else have a short list of party design favorites that wanna share?

I don't particularly like Malimar's (Psychic/Dark Squid) design. It's type is pretty cool and I might still get it, but I'm leaning towards not getting it (unless I use more than 6 main pokemon in rotation like I did with Black 2, when I used about 8-10 Pokemon).

8-10 pokemon is safe pvp wise. I opted for the same in B&W.
