It would be the first time they announce a new gen pokemon before all the previous gen pokemon were announced. Not happening. Imagine this scenario:I suppose we could get sort of a soft announcement? They could conceivably reveal a new Eeveelution without announcing the new game first and then alter reveal Zeraora. It wouldn't be the first time we've gotten new Pokemon before a proper title reveal.
They announce new eeveelution.
They announce Zeraora for gen 7.
They announce gen 8.
They announce that the new eeveelution will be in gen 8.
People will just stop trying to understand what pokemon belongs to what generation. Too much confusion. The main question would be: why the new pokemon Zeraora is in gen 7 when he has basically been announced so close to gen 8 games?
