Yeah, but you can't trade it to Sun & Moon, and I don't even consider LGPE to be a part of Gen 7, or any gen at all for that matter.Does that matter? You're still catching the same species.

XY did keep out a lot of significant Hoenn Pokemon, including the starters and Legendaries. The Sinnoh Legends are already included in the Crown Tundra, and their puzzles are pretty similar to Platinum.Anyway, species have never been an argument NOT to make a remake. The ones in ORAS were readily available in other games, as well.
But still, a lot of the more significant ones, like the starters and Legendaries, were completely excluded. Many Hoenn Pokemon were available to catch in the wild in X and Y.
It's not the significance that counts here.XY did keep out a lot of significant Hoenn Pokemon, including the starters and Legendaries. The Sinnoh Legends are already included in the Crown Tundra, and their puzzles are pretty similar to Platinum.
But still, why bother with Sinnoh remakes if you can get the Legendaries for a cheaper price? It's not the significance that counts here.
New forms for them, ORAS added Mega Evolutions for Pokemon that could still be caught in X and Y.But still, why bother with Sinnoh remakes if you can get the Legendaries for a cheaper price?
Because it's about the experience; The region. But still, why bother with Sinnoh remakes if you can get the Legendaries for a cheaper price?
Well, it won't be the same unless it's done in Let's Go style.Because it's about the experience; The region.
The Let's Go style would be the worst style for a region that wasn't remade traditionally.Well, it won't be the same unless it's done in Let's Go style.
It's the best way to represent Sinnoh faithfully, as it would be completely changed if remade traditionally given graphical changes and Dynamaxing. The Let's Go style would be the worst style for a region that wasn't remade traditionally.
Remakes are not meant to be the same, but to evoke the same core experience; landmarks, boss-battles, music, routes, story, setup, etc.Well, it won't be the same unless it's done in Let's Go style.
Remakes aren't supposed to be completely faithful to the originals, every remake aside from FRLG were never 100% or even remotely close to faithful to the original due to the added mechanics. It's the best way to represent Sinnoh faithfully, as it would be completely changed if remade traditionally given graphical changes and Dynamaxing.
Why do you think that? And why are this gen's mechanics 'intense'?I think that Gen 9's mechanic will be a lot less intensive and it would be better for Sinnoh to be remade then.
Except they still maintained most of the same story elements and layouts as the original. Sword and Shield's layout and mechanics will leave Sinnoh completely unrecognizable.Remakes aren't supposed to be completely faithful to the originals, every remake aside from FRLG were never 100% or even remotely close to faithful to the original due to the added mechanics.
Disagree here, next year is the perfect year for Sinnoh to be remade, it's two anniversaries being celebrated at the same time. It's especially fitting to remake a game that goes so much in detail about the concepts of time and space of the Pokemon world for the 25th anniversary.I think that Gen 9's mechanic will be a lot less intensive and it would be better for Sinnoh to be remade then.
They can easily leave Dynamax out of the main story, but implement it in the multiplayer setting.Except they still maintained most of the same story elements and layouts as the original. Sword and Shield's layout and mechanics will leave Sinnoh completely unrecognizable.
