Something that relates to Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and the Distortion World, like if DIamond and Pearl Remake be the sequel to Sun and Moon, is that what you mean

Uh...they are remakes of ruby and sapphire for a reason. They are suppose to be similar. There could have been more Emerald stuff but GF chose not to so the games would stick to the originals. ORAS are decent games in my opinion.

Expect GF to do the same with DP remakes. They would be remakes of Diamond and Pearl. Not Platinum. Sticking true to the originals is what remakes are about. Remakes usually updates the originals games.
At least DP with a Platinum episode will feel more natural than just shoving all of the Emerald nods (but not the features) until after the main game. Just think about it. Would Cyrus really give up after failing with one legendary? I don't think so. The post-game scenario would probably have Cyrus attempt to use the other mascot after escaping from jail, only for Giratina to swallow him up with the player into the distortion world. IT's actually also a lot less random then Giratina jsut swooping in in the middle of Cyrus' plan with no context. Attempting to do the same thing twice, however, would be more likely to make Giratina pissed. In fact, I could even imagine that some of the Ultra Beasts might have moved to the Distortion World and ended up becoming more bizarre there then they were before.

Whatever the case may be, they better at least have Platinum's regional Pokédex expansion, as the poor Pokédex distribution and the fact that some of the newer Pokémon relegated to the post-game national dex were a major criticism fans had in regards to DP. No matter how much Game Freak want to stay true to the originals, giving us the same poor regional dex will not go over well in regards to those who criticized Sinnoh's poor distribution in the first place. In fact, doing so might even cause Game Freak to lose sales. At the very least, they should retcon some Johto Pokémon already present in the original DP regional Pokédex into Sinnoh Forms so we have more variety in terms of types.

Well the good news on that is that the precedence is that they tend to be slightly lax with the regional dex and at least throw in some cross gen evos, so they shouldn't be opposed to keeping Platinum's expansion. I'd wish they'd go further with that though and throw in completely new families from other regions, maybe even some 5th, 6th, and 7th gen Pokemon. And with regional variants being a thing, this could be doable, they could make some Sinnoh forms and throw those into the Sinnoh Dex.

I've been a strong supporter of Sinnoh remakes since 2014 and I'm gonna say I'm hoping they use Platinum's dex.

Like you said remakes should update the original ones. But the problem is, that Platinum already was the "update" for DP. A remake ignoring all updates from previous update would be both super stupid and counter productive to the whole "remakes should fix all problems of the originals" claim.

I deleted my post, and change the predictions on Diamond and Pearl Remake

  • Generation 4 Remakes comes out in Gen 7, in 2017, on Nintendo 3DS
  • Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Remake will be the sequel from Pokemon Sun and Moon
  • Same Graphics from Pokemon Sun and Moon will be on Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Remake
  • The Following Pokemon will get new Mega Evolution: Sinnoh Starters, Flygon, Milotic, Weavile, Luxray, Magmortar, Roserade, Rhyperior, Froslass, Floatzel, Mismagius, Drapion, Electivire, Magmortar, Bronzong, Floatzel, Rampardos, Bastiodon, Hippowdon, and Giratina
  • Dialga and Palkia can now undergo a new transformation process similar to Primal Reversion called Ascension, which changes them into their Ascended Dialga and Ascended Palkia respectively. The Adamant Orb and Lustrous Orb are the keys to the Ascension of these Pokemon.
  • New Exclusive Z-moves for The Sinnoh Starters, Johto Starters, Pikachu, Raichu, and more
  • Not only we get new Z-move, but Z-forms will be introduced, Z-Forms acts similar to Mega Evolution, before you use Z-moves, it'll changes the pokemons formes that resembles you (just like Ash-Greninja), if the pokemon takes damage you'll take damage too, but if the pokemon faint you'll automatically lose the battle.
  • Pokemon who are getting Z-Forms: Exclusive to Sinnoh Starter, Johto Starters, Unova Starters Chesnaught, and Delphox
  • The Mega Ring and Z-Ring have merged into one item, called the Power Ring. However, you can only use either Mega Evolution or Z-Move to your Pokémon.
  • New Forms Changes called Sinnoh Forms
  • You can choose between either Mega Evolve or Z-Forming your Pokemon
  • Giratina has two Mega Evolutions: one for Altered Forme (A) and one for Origin Forme (O). Like Rayquaza, Giratina has no Mega Stone and must instead know a new signature move to Mega Evolve and certain story condition must be met.
  • Your Rivals have the combination of Diamond/Pearl and Platinum team depending on what starter pokemon you choose. In Platinum, as soon you have choose your starter and Barry choose his starter that is stronger than yours, he will jump right into battle from the start, it'll happen the same way like it did Platinum in D/P Remake. New rival battle at Eterna City and Veilstone City before or after you get a gym badge
  • You obtain your Key Stone in Celestic Town after you defeat Team Galactic Leader Cyrus
  • After Teaming up with Cheryl, Mira, Riley Marley, and Buck, you can call them on the Poketch at anytime to team up with them
  • After Sun and Moon, the Trial are still in Gen 4 Remake, but the Trial captains are Gym Leaders. You have to do a Trial first, once you complete the Trial, you have to challenge the Gym Leaders. Once you beat the gym leader, you'll obtain a trial completion and a gym badge.
  • Just like the Kahunas, You can gain access to challenge to Elite Four early, but Cynthia can't be challengeable, until you reach the Pokemon League
  • The Gym leaders are fought in the same order as in D/P. Each Gym Leader has the same team as in D/P and Platinum team except for Fantina (who instead has her D/P team), Byron (who has his Platinum team), Candice (which has her Platinum team) and Volkner (who has his Platinum Team).
  • When you battle the Elite 4 for the first time, They be fought using the Platinum Team with Diamond/Pearl Level by their signature pokemon from D/P (Aaron's Drapion, Bertha's Hippowdon, Flint's Infernape, and Lucian's Bronzong.
  • Cynthia uses her Team from D/P, but now her Garchomp can Mega Evolve, but when you rematch her, she'll uses her team from Platinum.
  • After the Elite 4 and Cynthia are defeated, The Platinum Episode begins. The Platinum Episode is a post-game mission with a new story featuring, Team Galactic, Team Galactic Leader Cyrus, Zinnia returns and involve in the story, Giratina, Turnback Cave, The Distortion World, and Arceus. Arceus can be caught at the end of the episode
  • Before you take on Dialga/Palkia, you have to face against Cyrus, but he'll be using his team from D/P. In the final battle against cyrus (at the Distortion World), he has his platinum Team, but now his Weavile can Mega Evolve, he also will have a Full Team instead of 5 pokemon.
  • After the Platinum Episode, the Elite 4 and Champion Cynthia can be rematched with a higher-leveled teams of six. Elite 4 changes their signature pokemon (Aaron's Drapion, Bertha's Rhyperior, Flint's Magmortar, and Lucian's Gallade)
  • In the Main Story, a trainer in Hearthome City gives you a happiny egg as in D/P. In the platinum episode, Cynthia gives you a Togepi egg.
  • In the Main Story, a trainer in Hearthome City gives you a happiny egg as in D/P. In the platinum episode, Cynthia gives you a Togepi egg.
  • After the Platinum episode, there's a new Battle Facility that replaces the Battle Frontier.
  • The Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Remake Post-game Story (Commander Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Charon, and the remaining Team Galactic has set out to Stark Mountain, to capture Heatran, Side Story involving Darkrai and Cresselia without the Special Distribution items, and The Looker Side Story)
  • Horde Encounter, Sky Battle, and Inverse Battle Returns
  • Catch the remaining legendary Pokemon (depending on what version you have), by encounter in Hoopa's Rings, the same way they did it in Pokemon OrAs in the Post-game
  • No Hms, Poke Rides is still a thing
    • Seasons return in the game
    • Once you arrive at the Fight Area, you'll tag team with your rival to defeat Volkner and Flint
    • After you have obtained the National Dex (which mean National Dex are back) and fought your way to the Survival Area, you will discover that your rival is there, hanging out in front of the Battleground. Like in Diamond and Pearl, he will be willing to have a battle against you, but only on weekend. His pokemon start up at the same levels as the people in the battleground. However, they will be get at a higher level when you challenge the Elite 4 and Champion 10 to 20 times
    • You can access the Snowpoint Temple after your defeat the Elite 4. Here you can catch a level 50 Regigigas. After obtainining regigigas, you can access the caves where Regirock, Regice, and Registeel can be encountered
    • Fantina's Gyms should keep her gym design from Platinum
    • The regional pokedex features all pokemons from platinum, but still have pokemon exclusives from diamond/pearl, plus sylveon and all non-mythic native to sinnoh
    • Poke Ball Seals are back, and there are more of them.
    • The Explorer's Kit and the Sinnoh Undeground are back. You can create a secret base in the Underground like before. Players can now interact with each other in the Underground via Wi-Fi. Special digging spots, sphere venders with rare items, and other players' secret bases can be unlocked via StreetPass. Certain Mega Stones from earlier games, such as Aerodactylite, can be obtained by digging in the Underground
    • Sinnoh's Climate is the same all around as it is in Diamond &Pearl. However, during the Platinum Episode, snow falls from the sky in southwest Sinnoh, including Twinleaf Town and nearby routes. Furthermore, the sun shines harshly in northeas Sinnoh, including the new Battle Facility. Battles that occur in the formers area during the Platinum Episode feature hail and those in the latter area feature harsh Sunlight
    • Taking Kyurem to Celestic Town ad speaking with Cynthia's grandmother will award the player the DNA Splicer, allowing them to fuse Kyurem with Zekrom or Reshiram to from Black/White Kyurem
    • After Capturing Zekrom/Reshiram, N will challenge the player to battle
    • The outfit that Lucas and Dawn start with are based on the outfits they wear in Diamond and Pearl. At the beginning of the Platinum Episode, your mother buys you a new outfit in response to the drop in temperature. The new outfits received are based on the ones Lucas and Dawn wear in Platinum. From that point onward, you can switch between the old and new outfits at anytime by visiting you house.
    • Jukebox will be on the game, you'll be able to listen to every music from the game
  • Bikes are back

Yeah, I don't think they should bring back bikes. Poke Ride has so much more potential, they can do just about anything they want with it.

I can see DP remakes or SM sequels in 2017. GF always take their time with games so the next games would be even better.

Like you said remakes should update the original ones. But the problem is, that Platinum already was the "update" for DP. A remake ignoring all updates from previous update would be both super stupid and counter productive to the whole "remakes should fix all problems of the originals" claim.
Ruby and Sapphire had the Emerald "update," and yet the remakes were still of Ruby and Sapphire, not Emerald.
I wanna see a remake of Platinum more more than original DP, but going off of past trends, I am not getting my hopes up at all.

Generation remakes have never focused the third-versions, anyway. FRLG had zero reference to Yellow aside from Pikachu making an appearance during the credits with the other final form starters (although in fairness, Yellow was made to capitalize on the anime and was technically the fourth version in Japan). HGSS still had Eusine and Suicune but there was still greater emphasis on the paired legendaries and you're never pressured to find Suicune.

But Blue is the third version. I don't know if they incorporated elements from it. But it seems so.

I never said that Blue wasn't the third version? I only said that Yellow is the fourth version in Japan. Regardless, FRLG didn't reference Blue either outside of the credits scene.

Bikes would have to return because there was those sections in which you had to switch gears to travel over those thin bridges.

Bikes will return. They were in the originals so they would be brought back for the remakes. Poke Ride is more of a SM exclusive feature.

Is there still a chance that DP remake will happen 2017 along with Pokemon Star or Do we wait for DP remake in 2018 because of Pokemon Star, What do you think?

Pokemon Star is just a rumor so it is not considered real. DP remakes could happen but it depends on GF.
