The next movie won't just feature Zygarde - that much is a given. Technically, Zygarde's role in the movie might even end up being as as big as Primal Groudon/Kyogre's in Movie 18, which is to say that the teaser could be misleading.Mega mewtwo is pretty different from this 50-foot behemoth. It's getting star treatment in the movies, it'll probably get some plot significance in the games, too, since it still had two mysterious powerful new moves. Mega mewtwo shared its movie with genesect, and just had the same style item that was being released for a bunch of other pokemon as far as new swag.
There are a lot of questionable assumptions here. First thing, I've already outlined a way for Zygarde to star in this generation without a new main series release. Secondly, event Pokémon get movies all the time and their in-game roles are very minimal. Lastly, it is hardly impossible for more than one legendary to star in a given game, even if there is only one mascot (which doesn't even have to be legendary). You're being narrow-minded.Basically, either the new zygarde forme(s?) will steal focus from gen VII legendarys, or will be shafted themselves. There's no other way. Either they get tons of focus in a new game, strangling gen VII mons, or they get no attention, and then why on earth did they get a whole freaking movie?
Not really, considering that three generations only lasted 2.5 years outside Japan. I can see Generation VII lasting 2.5 years worldwide.Mitchman said:I would roll with saying 5 years is illogical, but only if you accept that a two year gen is up there with it.
You might want to rewrite that.Gen 7 could easily debut in fall 2017, which is close to say, a spring 2018 release for the NX.
