Contest Golbat vs Golduck vs Machamp vs Rhydon vs Seaking vs Gyarados

I went with Gyarados, Machamp, and Rhydon.

Gyarados because he's a beast, one of my favorite Pokemon and Magikarp is the Trope Namer for Magikarp power.

Machamp has an awesome design and is really useful.

Rhydon is the first Pokemon designed and I like his design a lot more than Rhyperior.

Gyarados. He is the MVP of my Hyper-offense team.

Rhydon kicked major ass in Gens 1-3, until that killjoy Rhyperior totally overshadowed him.

Gyarados for the epic type matching, and Golduck for it's speed and ability to learn psychic attacks

Gyarados, I love its design, high Attack and wide movepool.

 

[Isaac the Investigator]

Gyarados, the only one of these who has managed to stay competitively relevant after all these years. Golduck and Seaking have lackluster stats and movepools, Golbat is annoying and has a better evolution, Rhydon's still cool but is overshadowed by its evolution, and Machamp has struggled with Power Creep. Gyarados is still a powerful sweeper and a good design.
