Interesting... Too bad everything is images and I can't understand anything by translating....

So the BF is exactly the same..... is that even possible? OOH OOH I've got it! A boat takes you to the Fight Area! And you're not allowed to access the places that take you to other places i.e the Resort and Survival Area.

Everything else looks good.

It's EXACTLY THE SAME AS PLATINUM'S?! What.

I'll try to optimistic and say that the Battle Hall is a returning Facility along with the Battle Tower. *shot* Hopefully, they have new Frontier Brains or some changes. How are they going to explain Palmer?

Glad to see the Wi-Fi Plaza returns, hoping for new mini-games. Jasmine's gym looks nice, but just because it's trainerless doesn't mean it's going to be exactly the same as last time. They could throw in some puzzle.

I don't see what the problem is at all, I know some would have liked a new BF, but to me its fine as is now and accoding to this: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=190750

He says the Battle Frontier will be located in the Johto region, with the frontier brains from the one in D/P/Pt.

This guy has been pretty right about things so far and did post things like BF and NEP before they were officially revield, so there could be a high chance this is true.

Only thing I want to see now is the addition of a pokeradar or similar device that can chain, it was great in D/P/Pt and would suck if you lost that chance to get a shiny or right natured pokemon easier.

So?

A lot of people assumed that the BF was going to stay the same after seeing the official website (the old one, not the new one), he could of assumed it as well and then added it to his "interview". I won't believe it unless I see it. I already posted my reasons in the 5th Gen thread why I thought the "interview" was fake.

God. If the Frontier Brains are the same, then I'll be totally mad.

How can two Frontiers with same Brains appear in two faraway places simultaneously?

They have no excuse for that.

Especially that I wanted new characters, not those tired Platinum Brains. Out of them, I liked only Palmer, in fact.

Gimme a break, though. It was about anime, wasn't it? So, that Battle Frontier with Platinum Brains will be in the ANIME, not neccessarily in HGSS!

Does this stop the argument that Game Freak don't think for the anime?
If there was a 2nd BF, it would be hard for the anime to explain, so they put in the same one, so the anime only had to do one Bf.

I'm disapointed that it's the same one, but a little relieved that it has put an end to the argument "the games have nothing to do with the anime" well they are catering for the anime right now.

While I don't support the move, it would appear that the previous facilities have been retained so that the Wi-Fi tag mode can support compatibility with Platinum. Even though Game Freak opted to take the easy way out, at least this is better than just including the Battle Tower.

If for some bizarre reason Game Freak couldn't be bothered to create new Frontier Brains, I would think that they would at least have the sense to keep Platinum's Battle Frontier in the Fight Area (which, as suggested by Blazaking EX, would be accessible by boat, while the the surrounding routes would be blocked just like in DPPt prior to obtaining the National Dex). Since that is clearly not the case, there is no excuse for keeping the same Brains, or for neglecting to update the opposing Pokémon's movesets.

If they did do this, maybe, just maybe they based the timelines of D/P to be the right ones not Platinums? D/P only had the battle tower after all and if Johto has the Platinum brains and facilities then it would work this way. Also remember that the 3rd game has always befoe came after all other games of that gen, not before, so could happen like I said and they might have decided not to use the Platinum BF as the one used in Sinnoh but in Johto instead and said that sinnoh only has a Battle tower? Just my guess until we know more.

If this is true, then they could easily then just go the the battle island off Sinnoh for a BF arc, remember the Johto pokemon being in anime are appearing more and more recently and there was not this much shown before the BF arc for FR/LG remakes. This proves they don't need to return to Johto for advertising purposes.

The reason is to cater for the anime. Something I know you don't believe to be true, but one part of the franchise wouldn't deliberately make things hard for another part of the franchise.

So are you saying at the time of HGSS, there's only a Battle Tower in Sinnoh? And that the BF in HGSS was built before the one in BF... so there really isn't a big mystery as to why the Frontier Brains can be in two places at once?

Either way, I really like the idea of taking a boat to the Fight Area in Sinnoh.

If you did take a boat to Sinnoh's BF, as is being suggested, and those rumours turned out to be true about cathing the Weather Trio in Hoenn, then technically, all 4 regions would be in HGSS.

What mystery? I am sying there was never a BF in Sinnoh and its only in Johto. Palmer is the brain in Battle Tower only in Sinnoh, he would not have to be in Johto for that, they could keep the same leaders in the Johto BF as before.

Either way, I really like the idea of taking a boat to the Fight Area in Sinnoh.

Which has been proven it won't happen with the BF in Johto, nice idea though.

Since the Battle Zone is not connected to Sinnoh and is an island off it, technically only 3 regions would be there and an island, not the region of Sinnoh

Or the BF is portable and can fly like the Battle Pyramid in the Anime.

I don't think there's a boat taking you to the Fight Area since the Tower is clearly visible on the Johto Map..

No, Battle Zone is clearly Sinnoh, it is on all Maps of Sinnoh, it is just as much a part of Sinnoh as Cinabar Island is a part of Kanto, and Cianwood is a part of Johto.

Is that why the anime has confirmed that Palmer is Sinnoh's Tower Tycoon, rather than Johto's? That certainly wouldn't make it easier for HGSS players to fathom his presence in Johto.

If the frontier brains are the same, which would be disappointing, maybe we'll get some more hint on why Caitlin can't battle.
