This looks great so far. I swear, everything I see about these games makes me happy so far! The headbuttable trees are a good return, much more accessable than the henoy trees! I also really like the exterior look of the pokethlon building. The inside had a futuristic feel to it as well that I though was sweet. (at least, I'm assuming that big building was the Pokethlon building?)

I wish HG/SS would come out before 2010. I have to do alot of walking around my college this semester, so the Pokewalker would be put to good use. I swear, I could have a team up 50 levels in a week!

EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesomeness!

I did wonder where Suicine was, but looking back now it does look abit like Cerulean Cape. The lighthouse is epic too!!!!!

And...... HEADBUTT TREES!!!!!!!!! OMG! Maxim's right, we should never have doubted. Hope the catchable Pokemon are good......

Only thing I didn't like, tho, was Jasmine's sprite. But whatever.... where was that new place Gold was biking on?

Glad Falkner's gym is redone too, what was his GSC one about?!

Suicune's presence in Cerulean Cape strongly implies that it was the beast that roamed Kanto in FRLG (in the canon timeline). Now that we have Eusine, who will no doubt be seen in Celadon City (as well as possibly elsewhere in Kanto), we should finally understand what Suicune has to seek in Kanto - for the second time. Remember that the event triggering the appearance of the beast in FRLG was the completion of the Sevii Islands quest. Is that in any way a hint?

Having said that, the more pertinent question is: Where will Suicune be catchable? The location has to be appropriate, as the Tin Tower was in Crystal, but there is really no place in Kanto that fits the bill. The Tanoby Ruins on the Sevii Islands, on the other hand, would be perfect in light of Suicune's bond with Unown.

Sevii Islands confirmed! Seriously though that thought is very well, well pointed out. I mean Suicune can't be in Kanto for no reason. Tanoby ruins getting an upgrade would also be good too.

So Suicine won't be catchable pre-E4 ala Crystal. Hmmm.
I can see an expanded TR/Eusine plot happening.... what would be pretty cool would be teaming up with Eusine and taking down TR.

Having said that, Suicine could just keep randomly appearing like it did in Crystal (in more places, obv) until you catch it. Consider. It's unlikely though....

It may very well appear as an overworld sprite at various points throughout Kanto - just like in Johto (both in Crystal and these games) - but there has to be a final "resting" place. I'd consider it a horrible waste if that location weren't at least close in importance to the Tin Tower, which is why I'm advocating the Tanoby Ruins. For the record, before today I had thought that it would be encountered in the Ruins of Alph.

I agree it needs a resting place, but what makes you think it won't be Tin Tower? We know now it can travel between Kanto/Johto...........

It would be anticlimatic to return to the Tin Tower in HeartGold after having caught Ho-Oh. Likewise, the scenario would lead to a conflict in SoulSilver as to which legendary - Suicune or Ho-Oh - would be encountered first.

But more importantly, I don't see what Suicune would be doing in Kanto in the first place if it weren't going to be caught outside Johto.

Good points..... I don't know then. The most obvious place is Mt. Silver, but it seems whenever there's a legendary/boss/whatever everyone thinks of there.
Seviis really do seem the best place. It's a conundrum.

BTW, what do those who want a Shaymin white rock event make of the expansion to Cerulean Cape?

Actually, how would it, as in Crystal you can't get past Suicine to get up the stairs anyway?
Fight Suicine, then Ho-oh.
