It was called Pokémon Garden and was run by Yahoo.

The relevant page on the official web site explicitly states that the NPCs reveal information about the games.

Don't forget some of that information was intentionally false. (Like the starters being Dark, Psychic, Fighting).

I partly agree with you. There's no need to be able to capture Cresselia in HGSS. But Darkrai on the other hand, requires a special item before it can be found. The Member Card event could easily be put into HGSS for those who weren't able to capture Darkrai the first time around. Same goes for Rotom and Arceus. But then again, your theory is doesn't hold up when you consider you can get either Dalkia, Palkia or Giratina in HGSS if you have the special Arceus.

Actually my theory does stand, I meant pokemon that were not event ones should not be in HGSS if they are in D/P/Pt, event ones that require an item or download etc... should be in HGSS as you say if people were not able to get them in D/P/Pt

But I thought that offering hacks in GTS was impossible, plus these Lv1 ones haven't appeared there before; I've seen them there for only a few days.

No, actually people have found a way of putting hacks on GTS, its not 100% on stopping all hacks. btw, is there anyway to prove a pokemon is legit from there?

no not really, you cant tell if its hacked, nintendo have played around with the action replay, and its impossible to stop all of the hacks from getting in, as long it has legit stats, and not hacked ones (like 999 everything), and things like where it was caught, (like a ho-oh caught on route 201), things like that

Anyone else is on there? It loaded perfectly fine on both computers for me.

I'm Raine for anyone that doesn't know. I hope they do something similar to this in next gen, except in HGSS graphics rather than FRLG graphics.

This is a little thing, but I'm watching Marriland's Silver walk-through and in part 7, he gets to the Daycare located just outside of Goldenrod. in HGSS, I hope they don't make it like the recent Daycares where you can't directly interact with your Pokemon by going into the area where they put your Pokemon. In recent games, they have that area, but you can't get to it. For all you know, your Pokemon are locked up in the back closet. xD

I love his videos. He talks so much, so I never get bored.

But that gives me another idea. Now that there are overworld sprites for all 493 pokemon, maybe that means we can actually see our pokemon in the area next to the daycare.

Same. He's funny.
I liked talking to your Pokemon, but there should be more like in more recent games.
Maybe you'll just see your Pokemon in the garden, but can't interact.

WJust to mention in Gold in Silver you could actually go into the area and see your pokemon and how well they're getting along I'm pretty excited to see there in game sprites in he daycare

That would be cool, I've always wanted to see more interaction with the player and their Pokemon.

I also still find it very ironic how the daycare center in GSC was on Route 34.

I hope that feature could come back too. I can already imagine.

Game: The two seems to be in the middle of something...

Sunday comes on today.

Hopefully, Masuda doesn't spend the whole time giving a speech about NEP and PCP like his last appearance on Sunday.

OK, now that we know that the Platinum frontier is in HGSS (on official website), do we know if Platinum brains are used yet? If they are it might kinda prove my D/P > HGSS timeline is right one (because of Battle Tower in it and no Frontier as its in HGSS) not Platinum > HGSS

I can't believe he actually did that. I really want someone to punch him and put Sugimori in charge of the series right now.

You and me both. I still wonder if that was intentional, since this game also had Elm doing the ;-) thing to Prof. Oak.

On Masuda I have found a logical answer. HGSS has no sign of showing up today. But Masuda MR Gamefreak Producer is showing. Thus I and my logical mind conclude Masuda=hgss surprise.
