Well, that's just because you speak English, and native Japanese words sound exotic. But to them, borrowed English words sound exotic. XD

Katakana is just the set of symbols used for writing onomatopoeia and words borrowed from foreign languages.
You could be right since I speak English some words in a foreign language word might sound better to me. Some words in English might sound better than they do in their language to them as well.

I can't wait for Heart Gold and Soul Silver! I love the Johto Pokemon and have never played the original Johto games so it will be completely new to me. I'm definitely buying it.

Hurray! GS is back!

Time to reveal my wishlist:
1) I want a better new area to explore than just island hopping in FRLG
How about exploring the areas west of Cianwood? Or the triangular area amongst Azalea, Goldenrod and Violet?
2) I want the silly bobble-head trainer avatars to finally disappear. They had such good ones in Ranger, why can't they put in true 3D avatars with proportional body parts?
3) I want this game to be truly 3D in overworld mode.
How about tilting the angle of view from 60 degrees to an even smaller angle. This way I'd be able to see something that will make day/night even more realistic: a sunrise and sunset in a Pokemon game.
4) Can we finally walked curved?

Or do I have to wait till Generation V?

You can wait forever. Junichi clearly said 2D is the way to go. More artsy then a bunch of 3D polygons. So yeah.

You can't changed the graphics!
Pokemon has it's own unique style of graphics.

It's definitely not going to be 3D, otherwise it would take ages to create the game, and they are to be released around September. And it would be a violation of the classic (main series) Pokemon style. Same goes with walking curved and proportional avatars. Long live the bobble-heads!
I do totally agree with you on the first note about exploring new areas.

Maybe Generation VI or VII will have such changes.

Don't expect such revolutionary changes in HGSS. Of course, there will be some MINOR improvement compared to DPPt (in similar fashion to FR/LG and R/S) but don't expect such graphical revolution. The engine will still be DPPt's.

DO people ever freaking read my posts? Junichi said 3D is never and i state NEVER the way they shall go for Pokemon. So if you don't like it stop liking th franchise for now or you will set yourself up for disappointment.

I can honestly see these games having the best features that a Gen IV game will have, if they are the last Gen IV games, which I assume will be. FR/LG made improvements over RS to the visual enhancements, so I expect these gams to do same, keep the general stuff from gen IV like the items, movesets, TH/Hms, use of wireless features and so on. Visually these games will look very good and they would want to make use as best they can of the DS or DSi features, because if some are right, Gen V games won't be for the DS but its successor and therefore at moment, no reason to hold back anything but go for an all out experience, but its yet to be seen if Gen V will be for next game console

The engine for this game will be based of Platinums but build off it.

Just wondering now, is there data in Platinum for a rage candy bar or are they just said about? If there is, then you could trade one over to Platinum from the remake games.

Well I expect the interface for battles to look cooler then Platinums black gold awesomeness and such. I can see the labels from crystal for the towns to be back but with the awesome background things like in platinum. Hopefully it does pop up.

I don't expect too many changes in Battle Interface but... who knows.

And the place labels! Hell yeah! I want them too! With Platinum backgrounds they'll be awesome!

I expect the pokeballs on the touch screen to have a more sleek look as well as the buttons. And yeah lol this could have such a thing. I cannot wait. Although the news on Pokemon Sunday is an announcement a video isn't out of the question. A video usually came with the second batch of news because it was always revealed in a magazine first but now with Pokemon Sunday revealing it I can see them show a trailer.

Does anyone else think that there could be a possibility of catching Mewtwo, Latias, Latios, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza in this game? With the DSi and whatnot it seems like they're moving away from Gen III dependancy, and those are the only pokemon you can't get somehow in DPPt or you will be able to get in HGSS.

I highly doubt they would have all of those catchable. We'd be lucky if we got one or two of them. Mewtwo seems the most likely choice if they were going to pick one. Of course, they could stick in a few as event-only, but I'd prefer Celebi to be catchable as an event.

An event-celebi with a WiFi-distibuted GS-ball like the Secret Key is possible. I do hope for Latios and Latias, but not as events. The weather trio, could work, but that would be an event, and those are scarce around here as it is.

If Mewtwo is catchable, then were would he be? Not the Cerulean Cave, since it has collapsed. If Mewtwo is going to be in the game, I'm sure they'll figure out a clever way to get him.
