I was not aware people thought it wasn't real? Huh.

Also. I'd argue against the fact Sirfetch'd was not at all inspired by Madame... but it's pretty much just a farfetch'd with creepy bishonen eyes, painted white, and handed an overripe leek and a shield made of leek leaves glued together.

What's funny is if they had went with Madame's design I'd have given them more props. Because it's loads more creative looking than farfetch'd blanche.

Let's just say that when it first got leaked, there were people that thought it was a very convincing fake, even though the person that drew the beta starters (and our only known witness) said it was the real deal. Thankfully, due to new footage resurfacing confirming things in the demo, more people saw that it was not a hack made by the Helix Chamber guys.

Very neat. Official confirmation, straight from the source. Doesn't get much better than that. Also neat to see the demo and its Pokemon getting a shoutout in the first place, whereas some other designers would just completely totally ignore it.

We'll see if this changes anything here though. Doubt it, but!

I guess it's more "we don't know if it will cause problem" than outright ignoring people.

I hate to be a contrarian, but that isn't an acknowledgement. He was asked Madame and pretty much shrugged it off. That said, he probably would have called it fake if that were the case.
