I don't hate it. Though, it is one of the very few Pokemon that gained an evolution in Gen 4 that I actually prefer the evo more than the original Pokemon. If it weren't for the fact that Yanma remained a swarm encounter, I probably would've used Yanmega on my team in Shining Pearl.
