ENDGAME – “Decisive Fire”

The inability of the Three Ships Alliance to incapacitate the warring forces of the Earth Alliance and ZAFT would prove to be the undoing of their plans for a peace between all peoples of Earth and PLANT. When both Athrun and Kira – the most-skilled of the alliance’s pilots – had fallen, they knew it would be a difficult task, yet they did not anticipate it being an impossible mission.

Sadly, impossible is what their goal finally became as the beloved Lacus Clyne was taken out of the picture. Knowing that the fighting power of her forces was severely limited after so many losses, Lacus had tried to reach out diplomatically once more to those on both sides of the war, volunteering to meet with them in one final hope that matters could be resolved peacefully. She knew it was a dangerous strategy, yet all other options had been mostly exhausted.

When she arrived to speak with the PLANT chairman Patrick Zala, the man was quick to hush the songstress’s words and put an end to his son’s ex-fiancé.

Lacus_zps2472c52a.jpg

Lacus Clyne

Mobile Suit: N/A

”What is it you believe in? What is it you're fighting for now? Is it for that medal you received? Or your father's orders?”

A popular singer on the PLANTs, the daughter of the former PLANT chairman Siegel Clyne, and arranged fiancé to Athrun. Lacus is hardly ever far from her Haro companions, and she has a kind, peace-loving heart.

However, despite her soft-spoken and somewhat meek appearance, she holds strong to her beliefs and is unshakable in them. Lacus is willing to speak out against those she believes to be harming the world, and eventually she comes to realize that fighting is sometimes necessary to achieve an eventual peace.

Lacus becomes instrumental to many others for realizing that perhaps their enemy is not who/what it initially seemed, and she gifts Kira with the Freedom Gundam to help him reach his goals and ideals.

Preferring to settle things on civil terms and abhorring needless killing, you are a governor. Once in the game, you may send a PM during a day phase titled “Stop Lynch” to do just that. Nobody will be lynched that phase, and you may use this no matter who has the most votes at the time.

You are allied with the Three Ships Alliance. You win when all members of the Warring Forces are eliminated.
Good luck, and have fun!
Zexy was killed. He was Lacus Clyne, allied with the Three Ships Alliance.
The pilot who had escorted Lacus to her failed meeting – Mu La Flaga – was left waiting for a girl who would never return. The Hawk of Endymion was an easy target to eliminate while alone in the face of ZAFT soldiers.

Mu_zps4ee19e83.jpg

Mu La Flaga

Mobile Suit: GAT-X105 Strike Gundam

“Didn't I tell you? I make the impossible possible!”

Also known as the “Hawk of Endymion” for his incredible piloting skills, Mu is a member of the Earth Alliance forces who flies with the Archangel. For much of the series he pilots a simple mobile armor, which he uses to great effect, even against the genetically enhanced Coordinators.

It is Mu’s words that encourage Kira and his friends to take up arms and officially join the military when he tells Kira that if you have the ability to do make a difference, you should use that ability. His optimism and friendliness make him a valued person on the Archangel even aside from his piloting skills, and he serves in a mentor-like role to Kira.

With your incredible piloting skills as a Natural, you are a vigilante. Once in the game during a night phase, you may send a PM titled “Kill: Player” to vig kill the chosen player. Be careful, this vig kill will rip through any sort of protection that player may have!

You are allied with the Three Ships Alliance. You win when all members of the Warring Forces are eliminated.

Good luck, and have fun!
Shiny Ditto has died in the endgame. They were Mu La Flaga, allied with the Three Ships Alliance.
Back on the ships of the peace-seeking alliance, the former ZAFT pilot Dearka Elsman was left as the sole defender for the small fleet. Though he was able to provide a suitable defense for a while in his Buster, the sheer size of Earth Alliance forces who had begun approaching was simply too much for any one pilot to withstand.

Dearka_zps8ade6c1f.jpg

Dearka Elsman

Mobile Suit: GAT-X103 Buster Gundam

“I can't just quietly follow orders when it looks like all we're trying to do is wipe out every last Natural alive.”

A ZAFT pilot who is part of the Creuset team. Whereas Nicol and Athrun tended to show a little bit more compassion toward the Naturals, Dearka often sided with Yzak in his enjoyment of the battles, though he was not as quick to let his emotions affect his decisions in battle like Yzak was prone to.

Ater seeing first-hand the effects that the war has had on the Naturals while being held prisoner on the Archangel– particularly the effect on Miriallia Haw – he begins to change his mind and desire a peace for both sides involved. From this point, he believes that all human life is worth protecting, no matter if Natural or Coordinator.

Wishing to protect your newfound allies, you are a roleblocker. Every night phase, you may send a PM titled Roleblock: Player to prevent their night action that phase from working. They will not be informed that they were roleblocked.

You are allied with the Three Ships Alliance. You win when all members of the Warring Forces are eliminated.

Good luck, and have fun!
RainbowSkittles has died in the endgame. He was Dearka Elsman, allied with the Three Ships Alliance.
As the single remaining mobile suit pilot fell in battle, it was only a matter of time until Kira’s friends who were onboard the Archangel fell along with him as the ship was destroyed. Tolle and Miriallia held each other close as their time came to a fiery end.

Miriallia_zps66909567.jpg

Miriallia Haw

Mobile Suit: N/A

“What kind of strategy is this!? Because this is a war... and because we're all supposed to be good soldiers... if they tell us to... then I guess we're just supposed to throw away our lives.”

One of Kira’s friends from Heliopolis and Tolle’s girlfriend. Even after finding out that Kira is a Coordinator, she – much like Tolle – instantly accepts that and defends her friend from anyone who questions his intentions.

Out of a desire to assist Kira as he pilots the Strike, Miriallia volunteers to join the Earth Alliance forces, working the CIC for the Archangel. She is a practical girl who tries to do what she can to help her friends and the crew onboard the Archangel.

Due to your close bond with Tolle, you and he are masons. You share a QT and may use that to communicate, but please do not invite others into your designated mason QT! Should one of you die, the other will gain a 1x tracker ability.

You are allied with the Three Ships Alliance. You win when all members of the Warring Forces are eliminated.

Good luck, and have fun!
Flaze has died in the endgame. He was Miriallia Haw, allied with the Three Ships Alliance.

Tolle_zps640fd58e.jpg

Tolle Koenig

Mobile Suit: N/A

“There's no need to worry. Although they're close, we're a neutral entity. It's unthinkable for Orb to become a battlefield.”

One of Kira’s friends from on Heliopolis who joins the crew of the Archangel after realizing he should do what he can to help. Eventually, he pilots one of the FX-550 Skygraspers, using his practice from simulations as experience.

Tolle is the most light-hearted of Kira’s friends from Heliopolis, brightening the mood with optimism and his sense of humor. Notably, he was the first to defend Kira on that fateful day that the mobile suits were stolen from Heliopolis, and he is also Miriallia’s boyfriend.

Due to your close bond with Miriallia, you and she are masons. You share a QT and may use that to communicate, but please do not invite others into your designated mason QT! Should one of you die, the other will gain a 1x tracker ability.

You are allied with the Three Ships Alliance. You win when all members of the Warring Forces are eliminated.

Good luck, and have fun!
Squall Leonhart has died in the endgame. They were Tolle Koenig, allied with the Three Ships Alliance.
Detached from all other units from any side on the battlefield was Yzak, who had watched his friend be defeated by those of the Earth Alliance.

“Dammit!” he yelled, his voice strained in doing so. He had seen the atrocities that both sides had committed during the war, and seeing Dearka fall was the final piece that shattered his trust in ZAFT. He retreated from the field as he was left wondering what there was to be fighting for.

Yzak_zps2186fa82.png

Yzak Joule

Mobile Suit: GAT-X102 Duel Gundam

“What's so fun about firing at targets that aren't moving?”

A member of the Creuset team and a ZAFT pilot with a hotheaded, competitive streak that is only further encouraged by his best friend Dearka. After the raid on Heliopolis, Yzak becomes the pilot of the Duel Gundam and comes into conflict with Kira Yamato. In one battle, Yzak receives a scar from injuries inflicted by Kira and his Strike, and this sets off an intense desire for revenge that at times addles his judgment.

Of his team, Yzak is the most loyal to ZAFT, and his mother is a member of the PLANT Supreme Council. Though he is friends with Athrun, the two often disagree and there is a hint of jealousy that Yzak displays toward Athrun, particularly when Athrun is chosen to command the team in place of Creuset in some instances. Even so, he cares for Athrun’s safety, as he does for Dearka and Nicol.

With incredible drive and piloting capabilities, you are an ascetic. Any night actions that target you will fail. Utilize this passive ability to accomplish your win condition.

You are allied with the yourself as an independent. You can win if you participate in a lynch that kills Kira Yamato. Should he die in another manner (but not in a lynch you were not part of, in which case you will lose), you can still win by surviving to the endgame.

Good luck, and have fun!
Yato has fulfilled her win condition and has won in the endgame! She was Yzak Joule, an independent.
Not long after disposing of Lacus, Patrick Zala was informed of the defeat of the Archangel, Eternal, and Kusanagi. It was yet another victory for him and an obstacle removed that could have gotten in the way of the firing of GENESIS.

Patrick_zps2e58e795.jpg

Patrick Zala

Mobile Suit: N/A

”All you Naturals mark this moment well. Let this light usher in the creation of the Coordinators' world!”

The father of Athrun Zala and the PLANT Supreme Council Chairman. He lost his wife in the Bloody Valentine Tragedy that ravaged Junius Seven, and this gave him an intense hatred toward Naturals, all of whom he blames for the loss.

His hate seeps its way into his decision-making as the head of PLANT, leading to increasingly more brutal methods of fighting the war with no chance of being dissuaded, not even by his own son.

As you are Athrun’s father, you are the godfather. Any cop checks conducted on you will appear town. You are also a double voter, which is always in effect.

You are allied with the Warring Forces. You win when your alignment is equal to or greater in number than the Three Ships Alliance.

Good luck, and have fun!
sharkshocker has won the game! He was Patrick Zala, allied with the Warring Forces.
ZAFT’s most skilled commander was informed of the news as well, though unbeknownst to Patrick, Rau was pleased by the information for a different reason than the chairman and was even more certain that his personal plan would be able to be put into action.

Rau_zpsec72618f.jpg

Rau Le Creuset

Mobile Suit: ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam

“I am the only one who has earned that right in the entire universe! I alone have the right to judge all of humanity!”

The commander of his eponymous Creuset squadron who provides a mentor-like role to Athrun, Nicol, Dearka, and Yzak. He is a charismatic man who obscures his face with a mask that is always present while he’s in public.

He is very crafty and able to manipulate situations to his advantage, and this combined with his phenomenal piloting skills make him a dangerous threat.

He and Mu have a connection that allows them to sense one another when they are near, and the two act as rivals to each other with a long-time score to settle.

With a powerful intellect, you are a rolecop. Every night phase, you may choose a player of whom to learn the ability of. Additionally, you may also anonymously send someone a fake cop check once in the game. Should they use it, the check they receive will yield the opposite result of what it should.

You are allied with the Warring Forces. You win when your alignment is equal to or greater in number than the Three Ships Alliance.

Good luck, and have fun!
Clusiana has won the game! They were Rau Le Creuset, allied with the Warring Forces.
With their main opposition for the moment out of the way, the “boosted men” trio of Clotho, Orga, and Shani returned to their mother-ship, the Dominion. It wouldn’t be long before they were redeployed to combat ZAFT.

BoostedMen-Final_zpsd3b6cffe.png

The "Boosted Men" - Clotho, Orga, & Shani

Mobile Suit: GAT-X370 Raider Gundam (Clotho), GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam (Orga), GAT-X252 Forbidden Gundam (Shani)

“Don't ask me, I don't really know. I hate losing. That's my only reason!“ - Clotho
“It could be worse. At least we're kicking butt instead of getting our own butts kicked.” – Orga
“Wow, another one of these... funny-looking mobile suits.” – Shani

The three “boosted men” who pilot some of the Earth Alliance’s newest mobile suits. Though they are on a team, they do not cooperate well and can often be found yelling at each other and being distracted by one another during battle.

All three of them were conditioned to no longer exhibit fear and to behave aggressively, allowing them to be potent fighters for the Earth forces. However, they can only battle for a short duration before they require a dose of a performance-enhancing drug or they begin to exhibit withdrawal symptoms. Any records of their lives prior to being a part of the Earth Alliance have been erased.

With the ability of Shani’s mobile suit to deflect many incoming attacks, you are 1x lynchproof. The first time you are lynched, you will be saved and nobody will die that phase.

You are allied with the Warring Forces. You win when your alignment is equal to or greater in number than the Three Ships Alliance.

Good luck, and have fun!
Momoka has won the game! She was the “Boosted Men” (Clotho, Orga, and Shani), allied with the Warring Forces.
As his enhanced soldiers returned from the battlefield, Azrael smiled wickedly as his mind began preparing a plot for taking care of his remaining enemies, the Coordinators of ZAFT. With as well as Clotho, Orga, and Shani had performed against the Archangel and its associated ships, he felt confident that a victory against all Coordinators was just a step away.

Muruta_zps9231a7a0.jpg

Muruta Azrael

Mobile Suit: N/A

“It's simple, even a single Coordinator is a threat to the Earth's survival, and our goal here is to get rid of them all!”

Hiding behind an angelic face lies a cruel and ruthless man willing to do whatever it takes to wipe all Coordinators off the face of the world. His hatred of Coordinators stems from his childhood, where he was constantly left feeling inferior to those who were genetically modified.

Eventually, he came to power in the Blue Cosmos organization, giving him the authority needed to influence the Earth Alliance into a genocidal campaign against those of the PLANTs. Azrael is also responsible for the use of boosting drugs for Orga, Clotho, and Shani, another disregard for life that he uses to accomplish his goals.

With a position of power and the brute force of your “boosted men,” you can block others as a roleblocker. Every night you may select a player to roleblock, and any night action they may have tried to use will be stopped. They will not be informed they were blocked.

You are allied with the Warring Forces. You win when your alignment is equal to or greater in number than the Three Ships Alliance.

Good luck, and have fun!
HumanDawn has won the game! He was Muruta Azrael, allied with the Warring Forces.

Congratulations to the Warring Forces and Yato, you have all won the game!!

Host Comments:
This was a fun game to watch over, so thanks to everyone for playing! It’s a shame that town didn’t get more time; toward the end there was a lot of late scrambling privately to try and work out the mafia, but sadly it was too late. Mafia played a great game, so congratulations to them and to Yato who played well as an independent!

With having to cut down on roles and reconfigure some abilities, to be honest I wasn’t very sure how balanced things were. Though ironically for a while I thought town might be a bit OP with so many abilities that could avoid death, but seeing how things worked I think it might’ve been okay? It’s too bad the cop died early though, I think that definitely put a damper on things for town right off the bat, and the loss of the vig kill in killing the town bomb (that could’ve taken down mafia) was another thing I hadn’t really anticipated.

This game left me with some good ideas for another one though and some lessons on what to do better in planning for another game, so hopefully if I host a sequel that’ll be balanced pretty well!

By the way, the characters who got cut when the game went from 25 to 18 players were Uzumi, Erica, Malchio, Sai, Kuzzey, and the group of Clotho, Orga, and Shani being their own roles as mafia. Some characters I originally wanted to have totally different abilities (like Nicol as bodyguard while Malchio would’ve been doctor), but in the end things worked out okay enough.

Yeeeees, we did it! Having a 1x lynchproof ability so close to the end is really useful. Great job, everyone! We all made quite the team. Thanks for hosting, FA! It was really a lot of fun.

1) Did you enjoy the game?
Mm-hm, it was really exciting! A few mishaps happened(as I can see from the timeline), but the game was overall strategic and that made it fun.

2) How was the balance?
I think it was balanced. Some of the abilities used, such as the vigilante kill on Yato, just didn't end up working for the town so that in turn I think made it look unbalanced.

3) How was the flavor text?
I didn't read any of it because I wanted to avoid potential spoilers, but once I'm finished watching it(god knows when that'll be) I'll reread all of it.

4) Would you consider playing a game based on the sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny?
Definitely, just give me a better character next time smh how dare I get Flay before subbing in

jokool copchecks Clusiana
MAFIA KILL: jokool

this happens Every Time

1) Did you enjoy the game?

yes, very much!!

2) How was the balance?

one time i put an infinite-use, town-allied vig in a, like, 14-player game so i dont think i should answer this bc god knows i'll be wrong

3) How was the flavor text?

i love your writing a lot, and this is no exception, so!!

4) Would you consider playing a game based on the sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny?

of course! 0:

thank you for letting me play, FA, and good game, everyone!!

1 Yes very much of what I played!

2 I thought it was pretty balanced. No-lynchs killed town in my opinion.

3 Very detailed, good job.

4 Yes I would :-D

Congrats mafia!
(Knew I fucked up with Human)

1; Did you enjoy the game?

Yeah

2; How was the balance?

I'm bad at balancing so idk

3; How was the flavor text?

I only read one but it was good

4; Would you consider playing a game based on the sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny?

Yup

All in all, good game.

1) Did you enjoy the game?

Yes, I managed to fool everyone, pull off a strategy that got votes off me, got Midorikawa to unvote me which imo is a big accomplishment, made a mislynch and assured victory! So yeah I had a lot of fun talking with everyone, especially Clusiana and Zexy they were really good partners!

tbh me and clusiana faked an entire skype chat just in case one of us was lynched so the other would be cleared

2) How was the balance?

I thought it was balanced, I'd have made the Vigilante Kill count on Yato and made the vig die due to killing the bomb.

3) How was the flavor text?

It was a lot more simple than usual but I liked reading it :O!

4) Would you consider playing a game based on the sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny?

If the FT has soft porn, yes.

1) Did you enjoy the game?

Yeah xD I was more active than usual (in the background sadly) and it was really fun, too bad things couldn't work out better.

2) How was the balance?
I think it was pretty balanaced if anything, you picked a lot of good players for the mafia to make up for all of the abilities town had.
3) How was the flavor text?
It made me shed a few buckets of tears...I mean, Cagalli and Kira? for a minute I felt like you just wanted to kill me here ;-;
4) Would you consider playing a game based on the sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny?
Yes! yes I would love to xD but I do want a character Mariallia at least I want Shinn

Ah good game everyone! *shakes hands with town and Yato* Thanks to my fellow mafia (pleasure working with all of you) and apologies to Rabbit and Elysion for playing them against Zexy >_<

1) Did you enjoy the game?
Yes very much! It had a good amount of discussion but it kinda petered out near the end when the vocal players were being picked off, town had bad luck off the bat (cop getting roleblocked) and we were on point with the roleblock/rolecop.
2) How was the balance?
I think it was fairly balanced. While town had more active abilities it also made people more liable to believe that "similar roles can't be on same side" which we were able to use to confuse the town.
3) How was the flavor text?
Got me interested to watch Gundam SEED so I'd say it was good :)
4) Would you consider playing a game based on the sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny?
+me please :p

1) Did you enjoy the game?

YEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!! Even though I was super rusty(lol I thought Clusiana was silenced XDD and I soft-claimed to sharkshocker)I found the game to be super entertaining and was super frustrated when Midori unvoted HD AGHGHGHGHGHHG but you did well Midori you really did!

2) How was the balance?

What HD said. XD

3) How was the flavor text?

I like it! I really like your writing style!

4) Would you consider playing a game based on the sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny?

Yes, yes I would!

AND LOL SHARKSHOCKER YOU DO NOT NEED TO APOLOGIZE FOR DOING GOOD AS SCUM LOLOLOLOLOL manipulation's part of being good scum

Congrats to mafia! I enjoyed the flavor text and the game was also enjoyable :) Balance seemed okay, though the bomb could have brought down whoever was the killer regardless of ability.

Thanks for letting me play! Hope to see a sequel!

Dang! I wasn't too far off with my suspicions! Sucks that I got killed before I could really be helpful, but that's the way the game goes sometimes. Congrats Mafia and Yato!

I hate to admit it, but I was rooting for the Mafia to come out without a loss after seeing how well they'd done throughout the game. I know who I'm voting for in next year's War Room awards.

I wasn't far either. My only off was RainbowSkittles instead of Clusiana.

Well, congrats mafia and Yato! You pulled off some great tricks out there!

1) Did you enjoy the game?
The No Lycnhes bummed me out a bit, but it got much better later on!
2) How was the balance?
I think it's okay, I am not good at judging this one.
3) How was the flavor text?
It was nice!
4) Would you consider playing a game based on the sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny?
Definitely!

Thanks to FinalArcadia for hosting!

1) Did you enjoy the game?

Quite a lot(even though I hardly used my ability)

2) How was the balance?

Yes I think it was

3) How was the flavor text?

Can't say for sure so ??? on that one

4) Would you consider playing a game based on the sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny?

Yes would be more than happy to

Good game, Mafia! You had everyone from the very beginning... Sorry Zexy, I was completely wrong about you

But yeah. Fairly well-balanced game. The vigkill bomb bit was questionable, but hey a call had to be made. And uh. Things just didn't go well for Town, really. Vig misfire on the bomb, the lucky check on Mido, and me getting myself murdered pretty much did it.

I'd totally do a sequel, mostly because I like Mafia though. I actually kept checking back on the game, the FT was pretty good.

I am sorry, I did a few things wrong too, like that contradiction... I don't remember who said it, but when the power roles go to the most experienced of people or the biggest scumhunters, it is a bit of a problem. With you cop and Mido doc it wasn't that hard to get at least one of you, they were lucky and got both. The Rabbit thing also worked perfectly well for them, and that Clusiana-Elysion No Lynch tie as well. From there on, they did lots of great tricks, like the Momoka-Revenge gambit and Clusiana's Santa claim.
