Gym leaders/ Pokémon League

he's most likely not electric because every electric gym leader so far has had their clothing based off of a military. lt. surge is like the american army, watson has a fighter pilot jacket, and volkner had a coat that was from some other country's army (though i forget which)

now denton being a grass/water/fire gym leader isn't too far of a stretch

Pokémon Sunday is over half over, so does anyone have a picture of the new Gym Leader they were supposed to reveal?

i saw this on jublife tv on youtube just type it in, what the guy shows and explains is pretty handy dandy

I do like Dento alot <3 Unf.

I'm shipping him with everything but I am wondering what type of Gym he runs. And I want him to have a new personality, if he has Brock's old one I'll fucking flip a daisy.

these are the gym types i am hoping for:

1st: normal (dento just looks like that kind of person)
2nd: fire (aroe, she likes cooking.... fire cooks, right?)
3rd: ground, need another ground gym
4th: ghost
5th: bug (fully evolved bug team, hopefully they make stronger ones, like that pray mantis and tarantula from that double battle a couple months ago)
6th: your starter type
7th: poison (hopefully not another ninja)
8th: dark (i like the idea of him working undercover in team plasma)

elite four:

1st: flying
2nd: type starter is strong against (making you think the elite four is easy)
3rd: rock
4th: type starter is weak against (catching you off guard so you cant easily use your starter)
5th: mixed, but mostly electric

The Champions pokemon team cannot be mostly electric or whatever because they use the match up to basically show off the star pokemon of that particular Generation. e.g. Cynthia's Garchomp, Lucario and Spiritomb in Gen IV.

Will, and Aaron are what the elite four should be more like, and I don't mean weak. They are way obsessed with their favorite type, and although Will probably didn't surprise anyone by showing off the psychic type which, during the generation before he existed, was all the rage, Aaron showed off the bug type quite well.

I want the elite four of Generation five to teach you a little something about their type specialty. and actually catch you off guard. If Game Freak pays attention to competitive battling they can just use similar strategies to the ones being used now. The elite four should be employing entry hazards, and the like. The only thing I would want them to stay away from is moves like trick, switcheroo, thief and covet... People would break their cartridges if they lost that experience share.

In closing, Bruno should have had a Dynamic Punching Machamp. Really it wouldn't have been much different than Gen II when Chuck rocked my shit with his Poliwrath.

By God, most of us had trouble beating Whitney in Gen II, I know people who had to have a rematch over 20 times, so imagine if they made the Elite 4 even harder then she was. As challenging as that would be I really don't want to imagine that at this time.

Until further notice I'm going with normal just because I hope he is. I like him at the minute (the female one is pretty awesome too) and on his design alone he is my favorite first gym leader. Also his voice acter in Japan is good.

I hope the gyms will be really different this time. Theme based teams like the tag-partners in the Battleground in Pl. would be full of win.
But not all. A proper Bug-gym is as necessary as Dark & Ground.

if they're sticking with types this time around, i still think dento's a rock-type gym leader. i just don't see him being a grass/electric-type specialist... these types seem to be the most popular types, i noticed. and those brown poké balls in front of the gym must represent something. the colour must foreshadow the leader's type. and i doubt they're just there for the aesthetics.

if they're not sticking with types, i could see dento having a grass-type, a fire-type, and a water-type pokémon. after all, he is the first gym leader of the region... the grass/fire/water-types are the basic types in pokémon, so it'd make sense if he used basic pokémon (hence being the first gym leader). and the evidence supports this theory. many people think they're gonna do something like this.

but really, i don't see why dento would use grass-types. D: same for electric-types. if i recall, his name has "den" in it, and it means electricity or something. but hopefully, that doesn't mean anything. the alleged gym in hiun city is more likely to have an electric-type gym leader. the building has stained glass and yellow/orange poké balls in front of it. the stained glass reminds me of light, and light reminds me of electricity/lightning.
