It will never be "confirmed" since its not really anything big

It's not like Game Freak publishes a big book of real-world references and puns they include outside of Pokemon designs. Whether she's actually a ghost writer or not isn't the point. They made a pun in the fact that she is a Ghost-specialist and a writer.


Confirming the pun defeats the purpose.

I just saw the hall of fame for BW. They actually have it so (I'd like to point out I thought of this at the age of eight) the background changes depending on the dominant type of the pokemon being registered. So there's an ivy pattern for Smuglord, and creepy eyes in blackness for the hydra.

awesome... they really worked their ass of this time haven't they? this is by far the best game ever (And I have to wait for March/April damnit I can't afford the game from PlayAsia and I can't read Japanese)

Anyway I wonder why they neglected the Dark type again... and What type does Adeku use?

Cheren, Belle, N...those are the major characters. The gym leaders are side characters compared to them. All three of those guys went through a lot of character development.

They animate sprites for all the Pokemon and we're complaining about something this small.

well look at everything else. I mean a full 3D City (Huin) Moving pokemon sprites cutsceanes ect... and they will obviously have the moving sprites in Grey which will probily be on the 3DS

And great I love varied type Champs... What happens to Bel I know you fight Cheren in VR what about her?

That's neat. Black and White are the best Pokemon games ever imo.

They're taking the Hoenn approach with a lot it seems. I guess it's to be expected. Oh well, perhaps Gym rematches will pop up in the third version. Hopefully like Platinum and not like Emerald.

Do you know exactly how the rematch system worked for Gym Leaders in Emerald through the Match Call? I would prefer it over Platinum's Battleground, though the latter is also good.

At least with battleground you were guaranteed rematches. Not so with Match Call.

Unless you don't know how the system works (it's based on how frequently you switch routes, towns or cities), in which case you can still rematch a ton of strong strainers (up to 50 if I remember) out of the 84 the Match Call can store.

You can exploit the DS time feature to get as many battles you want in a day

and if you stay in the battle ground and change the time you can battle the gym leaders again before leaving and re entering and fighting a new batch

and besides the leaders are much stronger in platinum

I hope the third game has higher levels than in HGSS
