I really hope that jersey is just a customization option and not a mandatory thing we have to wear in the Gyms. Well, at least Gyms and Gym Leaders are returning with a stadium gimmick and not replaced with Island Trials. And now that those stadiums have been confirmed to be Gyms, they better give us a Dark-type Gym. It was bad enough that the Fairy-type had already beaten the Dark to the Gym when Fairy was only present for one generation that had Gyms while Dark is entering it's 20th anniversary!

At least the jerseys are pretty much confirmed to be customizable.

Based on that leak with Dynamax, this is my prediction for the first four gyms:
Milo (Grass) (He is already confirmed)
Nessa (Water)
Kabu (Bug or Steel)
Opal (Fairy)

What I wonder about the gym leaders and dynamaxing is can they dynamax any Pokemon on their team, or will it be specifically programmed to only give the boost to the highest leveled Pokemon on the team? I expect it to be the latter, but it would be so interesting if it could be anyone on their teams that could be dynamaxed. That would add more randomness to the battle.

With Z-Moves and Megas, it was more limited since it was based on the Pokemon's held item. From what we know, it seems that all you need is the dynamax bracelet to dynamax anything. I'm hoping that they won't just limit the gym leader's dynamaxing to the strongest Pokemon only.

Maybe not one hundred percent confirmed, but he's still the first announced and a map analysis showed the Grass gym as the first in your path.

There HAS to be a connection. I think they're sisters. It'd be amazing if it were actually true and Nessa was originally from Hoenn.

I think Drednaw is a poor choice for a gym leaders ace - just toss any Grass move at it and it dies instantly.

I think the Pokémon in her team might’ve been placeholders. They don’t want to show up to many been Pokémon at this point, and Drednaw is the only water shown so far.

Well, in theory, they can still make that level and Pokémon of the leaders change based on the number of badges you have, though I wouldn’t really bet on it.
