On this day, 25 years ago, Toonami first aired on Cartoon Network. The original line up was Thundercats, The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest, Voltron, and Cartoon Roulette. Since then they've played almost 150 anime and action cartoons (more if you count stuff they only played just a little of), and dozens of movies. They've played a big part in making anime popular in America during the late 90s and 00s, helping making The Dragon Ball, Gundam, and Sailor Moon franchises--among others--into big hits. They went away in 2008, but came back strong in 2012 and have been on Adult Swim since, playing the biggest anime hits they can get their hands on like My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, and DB Super.

So here let's talk about our favorite Toonami memories from across the years to celebrate their 25th Anniversary!
