Have to submit posts twice

I'm having to make posts twice before they actually go through. The first time will have the message that says it goes through and it redirects me to the forum but nothing happens, and going back a page pops up the message that I'm trying to submit a duplicate of something that was just posted.

Your posts seem to be showing up fine on my end. Can you not see your own posts you've made? Also, have you been getting a message saying they need moderator approval? that could also be an issue. If you see that message you dont need to repost something, it just means a moderator needs to approve the posts. Then reason your seeing the message pop up that says your trying to post a duplicate of something is because it's already been posted. Your messages haven't been lost, they just need approval. You can contact a mod of the section and they can approve the messages for you.

After the initial attempt, nothing shows up, not on the thread nor the "last post in this thread" indicator (I can't check my posts from my user page, as it keeps saying there's connection problems). I've waited for about ten minutes before trying again, which it then goes through. However, the creation of this thread went through the first time, even though I had just tried to create a different thread and ran into the same problem. If this post has no problems, I'll have to assume there's an expiry time or something.

Edit: I don't recall the message saying something about moderator approval, though I wasn't really paying attention to it. If that was the case, wouldn't my second attempt also need approval and not go through?

If you arent seeing that message, then this could be a different issue. If you try to resubmit if that happens the same thing can happen. It can happen to new users for their first few posts and some can go through normally.

Read the whole message before it redirected me this time and it is requiring mod approval. Is this what's making me "denied" from seeing what posts I've made from my profile page as well?
Yes, thats why your posts arent showing up. You dont need to repost the things it just needs mod approval to show up.

Please take the age of this thread into consideration in writing your reply. Depending on what exactly you wanted to say, you may want to consider if it would be better to post a new thread instead.
