I'm going to re-play HeartGold, and I was wondering what the movesets should be, post-game. With that being said, here's the team I plan on using:

  1. Typholsion
  2. Lanturn
  3. Yanmega
  4. Arcanine
  5. Stantler
  6. Luxray

All suggestions will be considered, and appreciated. Thank you!

Typhlosion is a nice sweeper at the beginning of a battle with good speed and eruption lanturn is more of a specialist pokemon that works best depending on the situation. Yanmega and Arcanine are nice for speed kills.

Luxray and stantler are a bit weird. Luxray has higher atk than Sp.Atk which makes getting stab a bit akward.

You have only 2 pokemon in your party that are not weak to ground which can be a HUGE problem. Maybe switch Luxray for a good grass/ice/bug type for either sesistance or supereffective hits on ground types. Also you have nothing to kill Lance's dragonites. Again, an Ice type will help here.

That team is for after I complete everything in Johto and Kanto; that's not the team I'll be using for the Gym Battles and the Elite Four. I should have been more specific, I apologize.
