Hello (& other generic greeting titles)

Hey, I'm Elliot. I've been a huge Pokemon fan since I was a kid; started playing with Crystal, have played every main series game since then. I used to play competitive TCG and I've been getting back into it with PTCGO. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology & creative writing... wait, why did I immediately skip to my qualifications? Is this a job interview?!

Well, I'm currently a PhD student at UCLA, and therefore based in Los Angeles although I was born and raised near New York City. Another fun fact about me is that my first book (creative nonfiction) is in press with a publisher and should be released super soon (I won't bore you with the details for fear of sounding like I'm advertising... but I totally would if you PMed me).

Anyway, that's me, so hi.
