I changed my username for SMW, so I went to change it back, but the option is gone!

Well your option is to wait a while and then go through 5 name changes to get your original back. However if you want your username back right away for whatever reason then contact an Admin, most likely Satoshi-kun and he will change it.

What Insomniac means is to go through five literal name changes.
Goombario > Hoombario > Joombario > Koombario > Loombario, etc. I think that's the way it works, anyhow.

But as Insomniac said, it's quicker and simpler to politely ask an admin too, like Satoshi-kun.
