I headcanon that Hoenn has a large population of PokéIrish immigrants. I also headcanon that Flannery is descended from Irish immigrants.

In addition, Hoenn has a sizable number of people descended from Kalosian and Galarian immigrants.

Sootopolitans speaks a dialect of PokéGreek characterized by loanwords from PokéJapanese.

Hello Torchic! Thanks for the headcanons, they're great as always. I really have nothing to add, I love the fact that Bianca, Caitlin and Cynthia know how to sing, now I want a musical group with the three , and I love the "hate" that Cynthia has for Steve . Bianca pretending to be Unova's Champion is pure gold , and I also believe that Iris is Lionel's cousin, for me it's canon. I'll wait eagerly for the requests to be open, take care .

The Dark Energy Theory

The Dark Energy Theory is, as its name implies, a theory that there's a Dark type counterpart to Psychic energy/powers/abilities.
Due to stigma surrounding Dark types and the belief that they're evil/dangerous, there's not much research into this theory. In recent years, the theory has started to gain more mainstream recognition.
It's possible that Dark energy feeds off negative emotions (anger, fear, etc.) and/or literal darkness (ex. shadows). Evidence—including Dark type Pokémon immunity to Psychic type moves and studies that show that Dark type specialists are less susceptible to Psychic abilities like mind reading—suggests that it has the ability to suppress Psychic powers/abilities. During the Galarian Piracy Age, pirates often had Dark type Pokémon like Sharpedo guard Psychic prisoners. This has continued into modern times, with prisoners being kept in holding facilities heavily guarded by Dark type Pokémon.

2. He doesn’t get angry very often. An exception is when he gets hour long ads on PokéTube and has to sit through them because he’s just gotta support creators.
3. During an Alola-Galar tournament, he became good friends with Hop (because friendly rivals support each other).
4. He has a really fancy laptop with a picture of Pikachu in high heels as the lock screen. He uses it to write fanfiction.
5. He likes action anime, especially ones that take place in space.
6. He has a lot of OCs for his favorite show called Meltan Warriors!
7. He also occasionally plays tabletop fantasy games with his friends.
8. He’s pretty good at cooking food in general.
9. He has a soft spot for Electric types, though he doesn’t know if he wants to specialize in them or Fighting types.

Sometimes it takes me a while to come up with good headcanons (I don't want to disappoint), but other times I'm like "let me tell you this character's whole backstory in excruciating detail."

There are also times where I wanna do characters backstories for headcanons, but I don't want it to seem like I'm copping out by just writing a character's life story. Then again, when am I going to ever explain a character's long and complicated backstory? In an angsty flashback story? (I mean, I am currently writing an angsty Wallace flashback story. Maybe I'll share it. Maybe I won't.)
