Jingle held his grip on Ralts while healing himself back to his full capacity. Seeing that Wally seemed a bit panicked.

"Use... Disarming Voice again!" He said, unsure of himself. Dandelion did so, but he felt the Wrap tightening around him again. Jingle was not about to let go.

The bell on the door jingled slightly as Tally and Jay opened the door and entered the store. There was a small line at the counter where a young woman was hurriedly scanning items. The shop was full of signs featuring a cheery Shelgon - its mascot. The owner must really like that Dragon.

Upon entering the shop they could see many aisles housing mostly food items. All branded with a "Shelgon Quality Seal". Whatever that means.

[ Some notes on the items - Kitchen appliences are all of the stuff you need to make meals and eat them. You buy this once and they won't break. You can use them all the time. Normal food can be used to make curry or just as a meal. Berries are Pokemon food. You can also use them in battle or make them into Pokeblocks. ]

"Jingle, keep it up! Growl!" Sakiko ordered. Still wrapped around Ralts, Jingle made a jingling noise.

Wally shouted out when Ralts was squeezed once more by Chingling's attack. But then he stopped himself, as though he remembered something important.

"Dandelion! Double Team!" Wally said. When ordering his Pokemon he seemed somehow less anxious. Mostly worried and determined. Ralts nodded and suddenly Jingle saw a puff of smoke and a group of Ralts emerging from it. The bell Pokemon seemed confused and his grip on Ralts loosened just enough for him to slip away and jump towards his clones, confusing Chingling further.

[ I rolled a dice for the number of turns Wrap will be active for and it came up for 3. So Double Team had nothing to do with him freeing himself. Just flavour text. ]

"Alright, Jingle, Wrap yourself on him again! Then use Recover!" Jingle ran at the group of Ralts, reaching his string towards one of them in hopes that he was after the real one.

Chingling listened immidately and rushed forward, catching Ralts off-guard by its bold dash. The real Ralts tried to jump backwards, but that was what Jingle was hoping for. He immidately shoot his long appendage in the real one's direction, wrapping it tightly around Dandelion's small body and slamming him into the hard ground, kicking the sand up into the air. Ralts screeched in pain.

"Use Growl!" Wally shouted. Ralts listened and let out a rather pathetic growl of a cornered animal. Suddenly it felt the Wrap tightening.

Jingle began to glow, healing himself, while his grip only grew stronger.

"Alright then, Jingle, Growl!" Like before, Jingle made a jingling noise in hopes of decreasing Dandelion's attack.

The prices at Shelgon’s Emporium was definitely a welcomed surprise. Tally took a moment to wonder if she could actually afford something at the Coordinator’s store after all. She grabbed a basket and looked around, first noticing a set of kitchen appliances. She felt that it could be useful, leading to her grabbing a set.

Tally quickly grabbed a postcard too. She felt that she owed her brother a lot, and wanted to be able to show off her progress to him.

Tally thought that berries would be a necessity, as they could heal the group’s Pokémon, not to mention their use as Pokéblocks. She ended up grabbing six Sitrus Berries, one Lum Berry, and one Leppa Berry.

She saved the challenging part, finding food for their group, for last. She wasn’t sure what everybody would like, so she just grabbed one of everything.

Tally turned back to Jay. “Do you think this will be enough?” She felt the need to add, “I haven’t really gone grocery shopping too much before.” Doing the math, she determined the total would be $187.

"Dandelion, use Disarming Voice!" Said Wally. And Ralts did immidately. But the voice was much quieter than before. Jingle could feel Ralts getting weaker as the Wrap tightened. "Again! Disarming Voice!"

Ralts shrieked again as the bound grew even tighter.

Jay looked at Tally in surprise, she didn't expect her to take the initiative like that. While she agreed that they'll need all that Jay couldn't make Tally pay for all of that, after all, she was the one that wanted to buy things and as the oldest, she felt responsible for the rest of their group.

"I think we'll need a little more than that" Jay walked to Tally grabbing a second basket and filling it up with two more of every big meal and another Kitchen appliances. She'd rather be prepared after all they could get stuck somewhere and need it later, it never hurt to be well prepared. It was weird to think that Tally didn't shop much before.

"Well for what it's worth I hope I'm not too much of a drag" With that, she strode with Tally to the counter snatching a plushie of the Shelgon on the way.

"Hello, I'd like to buy some stuff," Jay said while plopping down the supplies they have gathered around the shop.

"But I'm kind of skeptical about the prices of the berries, you'd think one would cost less than a bag of fried food you know" She had a friendly yet confused expression on her face and seem genuinely curious to know why is that the case, of course, that's only what she wanted the shop keeper to think, inside Jay was already a few steps ahead in this conversation.

"Okay, Jingle, go on and heal that damage! Recover! Then Growl!" Sakiko ordered.

Jingle was quick to listen, healing himself, before growling at Dandelion.

"Use Disarming Voice again!" Wally shouted, painfully aware that with his Attack lowered so drastically he won't be able to deal decent damange anymore. Ralts gripped Jingle's appendage and screeched right into his ear with everything he had in him, which caused the bell Pokemon to drop him onto the ground. "Agan, Disarming Voice! Go, please!"

After his second attack Wally visibly got his groove back.

"Now! Double Team!"

[ Back at the Shelgon Emporium... ]

"Um, I don't really control the prices," the cashier said, already scanning Tally's items. "If you have a problem with the berries you will have to take it up with the boss."

She looked disinterested in your attempts to engage her in conversation.

"Growl again! Then Wrap!" Jingle made a jingling noise again, charging at the group of Ralts. The real one would most likely react like before, Sakiko thought, so Jingle would be able to tell.

[ Ralts' attack can't go any lower btw. Right now it's only taking 1 HP each turn. ]

"Disarming Voice!" Wally said. Jingle at once was surrounded by a circle of clones, screeching in a maddening noise, but it also noticed the one who started executing the command first and immidately lashed onto the real Ralts. The grip immidately tightened, finding Dandelion's vital points.

"Jingle, you're not looking so good! Use Recover to heal that up!" Jingle listened happily, glowing as he healed himself.

"No!" Wally yelled, frustrated. This was obviously not going the way he imagined it. "Come on, use Disarming Voice again!"

But it was no use. Sakiko's strategy was well thought out and with Wally's scarce moveset he couldn't handle it. The grip on Ralts tightened and it could feel itself slipping away into blessed unconsciousness. Almost.

"Come on! We can't give up!" Wally said frantically. "Use Disarming Voice again!"

It did, but it was cut short by the grip Jingle had on it tightening, squeezing it's lungs and cutting the screech short. This would be over soon. If the Wrap holds on for any longer Dandelion will surely fall.

Tally was mildly embarrassed that, in her desire to be helpful, she was about to foot the bill. In addition, she felt that she should have realized that they would need more supplies for a group of their size. But she was able to quickly shrug it off, she was not used to shopping with other people in mind, and she had to start somewhere. She chose to view this as a learning experience.

Tally felt bad seeing the cashier’s blatant disinterest in Jay’s comment about Berry prices. Attempting to brighten the mood with a joke, she muttered, “That wasn’t berry nice of her.” She took great care in ensuring she was quiet enough for the cashier to not hear. Tally quickly handed over the $187 needed for her supplies and headed over to the entrance, waiting for Jay to finish her transaction.

"Tough crowd" Jay shrugged if it wasn't for Tally already paying, she'd probably ask to see him. After all those berries grew around the roads they had to pass to get here, so there was no way they could cost that much. You win some you lose some, of well. At least she learned that Tally makes puns and that was great, Jay loves puns. She rewarded Tally with a chuckle and after paying for the rest of the stuff which left her with 375 money, they moved on to the gear shop.

"I sure hope the rest of the shops aren't overpriced here but since this is the place where most trainers and coordinators start I'm probably gonna be disappointed." Jay shook her head. No shame those people stealing money from unsuspecting kids. That was one of the reasons they shouldn't buy much here. People in smaller towns and villages were more truthful about their prices. She turned to Tally.

"Where do you wanna go after we finish up here and meet up with the rest of the group?" Jay didn't mind where they go next since she visited most of the cities already, as a child with her parents when they made business, and as a teen to spread awareness of the pollution that the space station was causing.

When his Riolu's attack connected, Alex leapt into the air. "WAY TO GO, RIOLU! YOU SEE THAT, CHAT!?" Alex said, turning his phone to face himself, soon shifting back to Riolu. "NOW, RIOLU! USE DETECT!" he commanded his Riolu, getting ready for the next attack.

Riolu took a defensive stance, readying for the next attack.

Absol took off from where she landed and charged at Riolu, who didn't move. Instead he stood in place till the last second, when his eyes lit up with a dangerous aura and he dodged with grace one might not expect from a Fighting type Pokemon. Absol stood still, confused, while Riolu moved to the side for an advantageous position.

The chat went wild for this manouver. Alex could see new people subscribing and the view count went way up.

"Riolu is so awesome," charizarfan99 wrote.

[ No HP changes. ]

"Why are you so excited?" Kane asked Alex. "It's just a Detect, for Arceus' sake! You'll have to give me more than that." He turned to Absol, who was decidedly not impressed. "But that's not gonna stop us from doing anything! Absol, use Play Rough next! Unless their next attack isn't Detect, Quick Attack or Force Palm," Kane lowered his voice to a whisper, "in which case, use Me First instead."

Kane knew that the Future Sight would likely strike in the next turn. The best part was, it bypassed Protect, Detect, and similar moves, so Kane and Absol didn't have to worry about Riolu pulling any more protection tactics.

And just for good measure, Kane waved wildly and called to the phone Alex was holding. "HI! MY NAME IS KANE, AND I AM TRAVELING WITH ALEX!! ISN'T MY ABSOL THE SLEEKEST POKÉMON YOU'VE EVER SEEN?!" he yelled.
