Just a small one, but it would make sense. (Probably won't happen)
Make the Elite 4 have elements of both the classic style i.e. each successive member gets stronger and the new style where you choose the order you face them.
Explanation: say for example the 1st member has their team at level 48 (main at 50), the 2nd member would have their team at level 50 (main at 52) and so on,
but you can choose who is the weakest and who is the strongest e.g. Sidney as the weakest and Drake as the strongest.
Yes. This. This needs to happen. I found it really lame how I had to unlock it in Black 2/White 2 (at which point it had lost its use) and then for it to be missing in XY....I want easy, normal and hard mode available from the very beginning like any other RPG, not AFTER you beat the game. "Hard Mode" should mean the Pokemon aren't just higher levels; the AI could be about as good as the Maison's, some gym teams could be overhauled, all that good stuff. Having a "hard mode" option is always a nice challenge, and I want it without doing a Nuzlocke.
Trainer Horde Battles, let me face down 5 Grunts at once. We have Double Battles against them already, this would be something different sure, 5 on 1, but make the Grunts reasonably weak and it would be awesome.
One of the aspects of R/S/E that I loved was how detailed Pokedex entries were. Upon reading them, I really felt as if I understood what made each Pokemon special, unique, dangerous, etc. It felt like a mini paragraph of facts.
For example, compare this:
Blaziken's Sapphire entry:
Blaziken has incredibly strong legs - it can easily clear a 30-story building in one leap. This Pokémon's blazing punches leave its foes scorched and blackened.
To this:
Blaziken's X entry (same topic):
It can clear a 30-story building in a leap. Its fiery punches scorch its foes.
See the difference? Which one sounds more enlightening, more knowledgeable? I know it may just be a few words, but you'd be surprised at how noticeable the difference is in-game. So I really hope that ORAS reuses such long detailed entries, rather than the short ones that continuously diminish in length with each game.
Same here~ I go back and notice that RSE had the longest and best entries out of all the Pokedex entries because they were so detailed and seemed to give more personality and trivia to the Pokemon. I'm also hoping we keep the original entries, which is likely considering the past remakes did it.
