To you, who is the canon Champion of Hoenn - Wallace or Steven?

I say Steven. Steven was never dethroned or anything, he just sort of stopped and Wallace took over, but I think Steven could come back any time he wanted. Plus he's stronger in both RS and E.

Steven for me.
He is stronger and much more challenging than Wallace in all games. The way I see it is that Steven decided to step down so he can travel the world to find more precious rocks, see more Pokemon, etc. without having to worry about being a Champion, defending his title and all that.

Steven Stone. In the ORAS postgame, it's shown that Wallace got the title because Steven asked him to. In other words, Wallace didn't earn the title after fighting the E4 and such.

Also, Steven was shown to have better leadership over the gym leaders and is willing to aid trainers with potential. He's the true champion as he represents Hoenn better than Wallace.

Steven. It's pretty much the same as Red being the true champion of the Indigo League.

Steven Stone. As others have mentioned, he exudes power and strength in a way that Wallace simply cannot.

Steven for sure. He's the best. I mean, either one could technically be considered Champ, especially in the timeline overall, as well as the Player Character, but to me Steven Stone is the true Champion. He was the first I ever battled.

Steven Stone hands down. He has a better grasp on leadership, more diverse team and was the one that I battled in ruby( I’m a little biased).
