I was wondering this. Of course, lots of people say "Pokeymanz" on the Internet, but what about in the real world? How do your relatives, your friends, etc. pronounce it? I hope there isn't an existing thread for this.
Well, my sister has a tendency to stress the "e" a little too much. So she says "Pokeeeemon." (Sorry, I don't have a key for the accent). My iPod pronounces it as "Pock-ay-mon," which makes me crack up. I guess the machine doesn't know any better.
Well, does anybody else have some examples?

I think everyone in my life pronounces it properly except my first grade teacher a long, long time ago. She said, "Why are you guys talking about Pokeman?!"

I still remember it up until this day.

The usual "POKE-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-MON" bullshit that we're all used to, for me.

Since we speak french here, most people pronounce it Po-KAY-mon. (And I do too)

Alot of people who dont know it well will around here say it like : Polka-mon which cracks me up as it sounds like the title of a Weird Al song

My sister does the: Pok-EEEEE-mon thing and then says it for nerds besides the fact that she knows nothing out side of Pikachu.
One of my friends says it like:pak-ah-mans

And some kid in my class says it like:pol-kahhhh-min
It sounds very weird.

Sounds like mine, she doesn't care about it besides threatening to kill me if I don't get Jigglypuff, Pikachu, or Piplup.

My older brother deliberately pronounces it "Pokey Mon" just to irritate me. He used to play it, but has since become a hater.

My mother has a strong accent (don't know what accent, it's just odd) which causes her to pronounce the first "o" strangely, in addition to pronouncing the "é" as "uh".

Well, I call it "Pokeymans" just to be ironic. I do this because my grandparents pronounced it that way when I was younger, and I found it to be hilarious, which is why I say it like that now.
