I started watching in 1999 when it aired on Sky One in the UK. Watched all the episodes from the very beginning up until around early-mid Johto. Only really got back into it because of my own children near the beginning of lockdown this year. Decided I’d watch the whole thing from the start and watched all episodes up to A Real Cleffa-Hanger and the first 8 movies as of today.

Let me put it this way. I still have the promo tape Nintendo Power released in 1997 (or 1998?) to promote the game and the anime. I barely knew what anime was at the time but I got hooked almost immediately. But admittedly I lost interest around Johto but I started watching the show regularly again when Diamond and Pearl started and I've been pretty consistent ever since. There's still at least 40 or so episodes of AG I need to watch as well as about half of Johto.
