I made a youtube video that I specifically wanated to share and offer for discussion and wasn't sure the best way to go about doing it without it coming off like advertising.

if the fanworks boards were a little more general I'd consider putting it there, and it seems just about unique enough to warrant a new thread on Pokémon World if such a thing were appropriate, but I'm not sure.

what would you recommend?

I believe blogs are typically where this sort of thing is recommended.

It actually sort of depends on what you're wanting people to discuss. If you're wanting feedback on the video itself, then I'd definitely say a blog is the way to go. However, if you're wanting to use the video to illustrate real world comparisons to Unova locations, then I could definitely see that being thread-worthy in Pokemon World (ideally with a little text to sum up the video, so if someone can't view the video for some reason, they can still participate in the discussion).
