Review HZ013: A Sudden Picnic

I'm lost? There's this revisionist history going on about this episode. Sure, there was a recap, but it wasn't the main part of the story and it didn't even fill the majority of the episode!

I also found the recap a bit unnecessary, but I guess the writers consider HZ013 as the start of the next chapter (although it doesn't really feel that way to me). I don't think the recap took away much from the episode.

I've seen people claim it took half the episode. It feels like people are overreacting. I guess the Masters 8 recaps traumatized people.

So... i find it interesting Dot called Ludlow gramps, considering nobody else on the ship does. That deffo seems like a connection between Dot and Ludlow. I have a feeling something happened to Dots mother and thats why she is introverted and Murdock brought her on the ship for that reason.

Not necessarily. Calling someone older something like gramps is a pretty common thing in anime. Kinda like how calling someone neechan doesn’t always mean they’re siblings.
