The Rising Volt Tacklers return to the Galar Mine in their search for the Black Rayquaza. As they search the area, Liko and Roy get separated from Friede, and continue deeper into the mine when they hear a mysterious cry. There, they find a group of people and Pokémon that have somehow completely lost their spirit and vigor! Meanwhile, Amethio and his Explorer companions also arrive at the mine in pursuit of Rayquaza...?!

This Pokémon's sinister, flame-like aura will consume the spirit of any creature it hits. Victims become burned-out shadows of themselves.

Well, that all but confirms we'll be seeing at least one bird here.

If it is Galarian Moltres would of been a good time to show the crown tundra in the anime. But I suppose its harder to explain them going that far out of the way from their original destination than the mine just to the east.

In fact, the Crown Tundra already appeared in the anime, although it did not follow the plot of the games.
