Preview HZ031: The Song in the Mist

I checked back as well and I don't think it's an inconsistency. It seems intentional with the ancient Pokemon appearing to have grown big since Lucius.

These two scenes are back to back and the size difference is too jarring to be accidental.

Yeah, but like Articfoxgamez just said, Moltres wasn't much bigger than Charizard during the fight. Plus, Liko isn't exactly the tallest person in the world either. Moltres probably has two feet on her, easy.

The battle with Charizard moves too fast and dynamic, one point they look same size, the other Moltres looks bigger.

As Eitarou pointed out, Arboliva was also regular sized with Lucius in a flashback, so they are indeed giant now.

Maybe......I'm going to take that "flashback" stuff with a grain of salt though, considering we have no idea how accurate it is. Arboliva perhaps became giant over time, but the jury's still out on Moltres. I still think it's normal sized, and always has been.

Animation errors are a thing, and while I'm no expert on the subject, size inconsistencies in a fight scene where characters are moving a lot are probably more commmon than in a scene where two people (or one and a bird) are just standing next to each other.

Could also just be the perspective of the camera and where Liko is standing in comparison to Moltres.
Moltres looks smaller when compared to Lucius because (again) perspective.
Also, in the picture with Liko, we can't see its whole body in the frame so it LOOKS huge.

"The Song in the Mist" is a tall tale about a mysterious Pokémon that uses song to guide and rescue ships lost in the mist. When the Rising Volt Tacklers learn that this Pokémon is actually a shining Laplace, they head for the waters the tale concerns. As the Brave Asagi lands on the surface of the sea and starts sailing, Liko and Roy hope they get to meet the Laplace that's part of the Six Heroes, but then the ship is suddenly shrouded in mist...

Summary for this and next ep, courtesy of Dephender.

A new trailer for the popular anime Pocket Monsters (airs on the TV Tokyo Network every Friday at 6:55pm, officially abbreviated "Anipoke") has been released. It has also been revealed that Nanase Nishino will be playing the Pokémon Eteboth that will appear in episode 31 and 32.

A series of anime shorts starring Terapagos titled "The Glittering Records of Terapagos' Expeditions" will also be shown after the ending in the episodes airing December 1st, 8th and 15th.

The new trailer shows Liko setting off on a sea voyage with her companions after learning of a mysterious Pokémon that uses beautiful song to guide ships lost in the mist.

The shadow of a Laplace emerges from the mist accompanied by beautiful song...... Could this be the Laplace that was one of the Six Heroes that once traveled with the Ancient Adventurer Lucius?

And why do wild Pokémon suddenly appear before the Rising Volt Tacklers?! At the end of the trailer we also see "another form" of the shining Terapagos.

+ trailer that isn't blocked outside of Japan.

What are the odds the Terapagos transforming scene is actually in the episode after these upcoming two.
I say this because that ep actually comes out same week as the Indigo Disc does so it would line up well.
