Yeah exactly, electroctuion and char-broiling which clears off neigh instantly and doesn't seem to even hurt really.
If anything, that makes Liko come across as basically being treated like she’s made of glass. They basically want the drama of the kind of injury that would result in the party involved feeling guilty but refuse to commit to it being anything remotely serious. The end result is that I can’t take this plot seriously, even ignoring the recycled nature, because it’s so melodramatic. This is the protagonist who is supposed to be an adventurer and yet they still want her to be a delicate flower.

To be fair, Liko herself doesn't seem like she is that bothered by it, she hasn't been the other times, its Sprigatito overreacting rather than Liko being 'delicate'. Which i can see still being melodramatic, just in a different way.

We don’t know what move caused Liko’s injury, how bad the injury was, or how it was treated. There is literally no context for anything.

The only thing that’s being said here is that Horizons isn’t nearly as reliant on Looney Tunes-esque gags like the previous anime, so Pokémon attacks are (for the most part) being treated as dangerous to humans as you’d expect them to be.

Also, were people thinking she was going to lose a limb or something?

The fact that all she has is a bandage on her hand which she is handling fine in the preview in itself shows that the injury couldn’t be that bad. Anime is not shy about the characters receiving an injury during activity that leaves those involved feeling guilty or the one who suffered it distraught. The preview doesn’t even make the injury out to be remotely an issue like it would be if it were remotely important beyond it being a setup for the episode conflict. They even end the preview with Sprigatito scratching her other hand to get her to let her go. That being said, considering it doesn’t even seem to be anything serious, the whole thing just comes across as melodramatic rather than genuine drama, something Pokémon has shown it can do.

This is going to be an emotional or just another trolling episode for the clickbait title. But we've knew Liko's Sprigatito is not going to leave Liko alone. Especially with all the adventure to come and helping to find the Lucius's remaining Pokemon.

They must be intentionally hiding the Sprig evos right? Even the entire Litten line is there.

Is that another variation of Leafage or is Sprigatito using a new move (Leaf Storm?) Or is it even Liko's?
