I mean, he kind of learned a similar, less morbid version of that lesson dealing with Latios in MPM. Even though he saved Latios' life, Latios still didn't open itself up to Ash at all. The point is that Ash is never gonna stop trying to, even if it is unrealistic, because he loves Pokemon more than anything.

It has just occured to me that the Roy and Dot art are litterally the exact same poses as their default art, just with the new clothes. Pretty sure this is normal in animation so I won't claim its a bad thing, its just funny. Also explains why the back of Dot's shirt is untucked, its meant to look like the part of her jacket that goes down in the back.

With that poster that they decided on more Pokemons in Paldea that is guided by video games, that will not change like this for a long time that it is not devising, just wait until we see that two legendary Pokemon of Lucius appear between Kleavor and Entei that are missing, Rayquaza returns again, defeats the villains and Terapagos in a new form within nine months or it won't end for a year.
