torou ze is etymologically correct (トローゼ is simply 取ろうぜ written in katakana) - toroo ze is phonemically correct, though it should be accompanied by spellings like Satosi and Tookyoo. Neither, though, are formal standard romanisations - in Nihonsiki and Hepburn, it would be torō ze, and in Kunreisiki, it would be torô ze; however, both are not unheard of: the former is wāpuro rōmaji (though strictly speaking, wāpuro for トローゼ is toro- ze), and the latter is something I like to call linguist's rōmaji - you generally see it only in linguistic dissertations.

I don't care. Filb asked someone from Japan, who also works at one of the Pokemon Centers, and that guy also said that Torouze is wrong.
And what you quote also proves that Torouze is wrong, as the game's name is not written in hiragana.

It should be noted though that Japanese companies have screwed up their romanizations before though. Kannaduki no Miko (Kannazuki no Miko) comes to mind just off the top of my head.

I love that anime. It is probably one of the very few animes that ever made me cry.

And because I have to say something relevant...

That game's characters look poorly drawn, and it just looks like a new, harder version of Pokemon Puzzle League.
