TL;DR:
You play as a demigod or human and the setting is a community where those peeps live together.

What exists beyond the veil set by man and science? A universe of contradictions.

Beings spoke of only as legend, who walk the Earth alongside you and I. The Divine and The Wicked, Gods and Demigods, demons and thralls; whatever you call them, they exist within the mortal populace. Even further, they're common knowledge, and the public loves them. They love you.

In this world, you might just be an immortal - a being greater than human who plays fiddle with time's grip on the mortal plane. These people are usually called demigods. Or, perhaps you're a humnan, who possesses, among other things, protection from supernatural incursion. Indeed, all humans are eternally guarded from the things bigger than they. It is universal, but relative in power.

Whomever you are, know that you live in a world of great wonder, and you have been welcomed into this community because of whom you are.

Definitely not because you need protection from what's outside. No, please, enjoy yourself! We're all friendly here!

Important Information (good to know)

Here's what's not getting accepted, at least at the beginning. Nothing here is exhaustive.

• Characters: Actual figures from mythologies, no demigods/avatars from monotheistic beings, no actual gods, no original gods.
• Races: Being an immortal means, if left alone, you'll die at a much later date than humans. In conjunction, you have slightly higher capacity for taking damage. Enough gun will still murder you, so don't try to tank an M16 if you don't want to be hurting. Being a human means no immortal can just bully you for no reason because of their innate protection - but that protection isn't completely impervious and all-encompassing. A strong enough being can still kill your face.
• Powers: General magic is freeform. But, for the sake of clarity, fill in what your character actively practices if they do. Also, demigods and supernatural creatures have a natural affinity to whatever "element" they have lineage from (Zeus' brats are good with electricity, Anubis' are good with death-based magics.)

Skills: Good for hand-to-hand combat when necessary. Out of combat, she's taken to painting, sewing, and some cooking.
Abilities: Lana practices magic purely as a defensive mechanism, specializing mostly in barriers and restoration-based applications. As the scion of The Morrigan and a human male, she has a natural affinity for destruction-based magic, and while he doesn't necessarily shy away from it, she prefers to use it only when in danger.

Other: She's got a scar on her face. Says she got her scar from a skiing incident.

Appearance: Alex stands at 5,10 and weighs about 170 lbs. He's olive toned with shaggy chin length chestnut hair, and bright brown eyes that are almost amber. He has a slender build, but he's very toned with muscle. He tends to prefer casual clothing, and tends to feel very uncomfortable in things such as suits (He feels they don't suit him what so ever).
Skills: Alex has a very good intuition. He's good at getting a read on people, and while he's not exactly the smartest in an academic sense, he's very adept at following along with complex matters of the heart. He's also fairly good at information gathering, being able to sniff down rumors and discern the truth and the fiction. When it comes to practical skills, Alex is adept drawing, and likes playing certain sports such as tennis and soccer.
Abilities: Alex, being the son of a God of War, is very physically strong. What many professional body builders and olympic athletes would struggle to life, he could lift with ease. His main weakness however is because of his strength, most weapons he uses just break when used by him, so he prefers to fight barehanded. He also has a hard time controlling his strength when irritated or angry.

Skills: Faye surprisingly has a green thumb, and likes planting and tending to her small garden. She's currently learning how to cook, and is slowly getting better at it. She also enjoys dancing, and singing.

Abilities: It's not exactly an ability, but she is super sensitive to heat due to her mother's side. She isn't proficient by any means in ice manipulation, or being able to lower the body temperatures of others. She can create snow and use it along with icy winds (though none of it would be effective against supernatural enemies), and has attempted to practice charmspeak.

Other: She knows a minimal amount of French (knows some words, but very few basic phrases). Her mother is Khione.

Abilities: Being the son of a storm deity, Tal can control the weather to an extent. He can bend rain and lightning to his will. Like his father, however, he uses these powers for good.

Appearance: Al stands at around 5'8", with an athletic build and slightly tanned skin. His hair is black, stylishly cut short and styled. He has dark brown eyes. He tends to dress casually, wearing t-shirts and basketball shorts. However, as he is greatly invested in his looks, Al, when not lazy, loves to dress fashionably. He is infamous for wearing skinny jeans day in and out.

Skills: Majored in art. He is skilled in painting, drawing, and all things in between. He is also has a great sense of humor, and is easy to get along with.

Abilities: Superhuman good looks ; )

Appearance: A particularly diminutive-sized female with porcelain skin and short black hair stylized in an undercut with her bangs swept to the side messily. She has obviously Asian features, though her eyes are amber colored with wolfish irises. She typically dresses in boyish fashion and has to commonly deal with her gender being mistaken.

Skills: Kei is very athletic, and doesn't typically run out of stamina very easily. She is also quite skilled at burning the house down when allowed in the kitchen.

She is also quite the prodigy musically, and is a master at playing electric bass. Excels in combat techniques, specifically Muay Thai.

Abilities: Most of her magical abilities come from harnessing the sun's power, granting her quite ample control over most forms of fire - however, she is weaker during solar eclipses and night-time, or in bad weather when the sun is less powerful. Her heritage also allows her to understand most animal speech, though she is typically limited to communicating with dog-like creatures, wolves especially. Kei is resistant to most types of fire. Except maybe Greek fire, it burns just as much as water. Water does burn her quite badly, however, so she typically avoids it whenever possible.

Other: Kei is left-handed. She typically despises cats and most dog-related nicknames. Kei also doesn't do well in cold conditions. She also hates water. Her body temperature is much higher than your average demigod, given her natural affinity for fire. Kei is the spawn of Amaterasu and a father that left her behind not long after her birth.

No, Kei does not play fetch, she definitely won't agree to playing it, and she definitely doesn't play it with her godly wolf-mother.

Appearance: Ritsu is a lean and tall female with slightly tanned skin and short auburn hair that is typically put up in a small ponytail, with heterochromatic eyes, the left a bright green with the right being a vivid teal shade. She is quite fit, sporting the musculature of an Olympic athlete while still retaining some feminine qualities. She typically dresses in loose t-shirts and skinny jeans. She wears contacts, mainly because she wants to avoid needing her glasses as much as possible. She carries a pair of drumsticks in her back pocket, more often than not.

Skills: Ritsu is insanely athletic, and it shows in her fighting prowess. Her strength makes her able to deck most people twice her size. She is an avid chef, mainly because of the family restaurant her parents run. She does MMA in her spare time to keep herself fit, and is quite good at it.

Abilities: Does the ability to make half court shots count?

Other: Ritsu is practically blind without her glasses or her contacts. She's quite a prankster, though she typically means no harm. She's also ambidextrous, and has ornithophobia.

She also doesn't really care if you call her Ritz.
