Hades let out a small sound of amusement. "Those two will be there a while," he said to Apollo. Then, he addressed Horus. "It will be worth the weight of half your temple in gold."
"Awww, Thor still owes me royalties," Apollo frowned.
"Oh right," Ken said before grabbing a few napkins and walking up to the gods. "I know it's a little unprofessional but can I get your autographs, my dad really admired you guys."
"Isn't your dad-"
"It would still be nice to have it," Ken interrupted him, not letting him mention the fact his dad was dead.
"Sister, I don't want to deal with the sad, depressing vampire woman," Athena whispered, "If you can convince your husband to free him? I'll offer up whatever I can. I just don't want to deal with her sadness again."
Horus gulped. "Half. You're kidding me right?" He asked incredulously.
"Don't worry everyone, I'll be fine I promise." Xavier told his friends with an easygoing grin. "Can't be worse than Don and I's last episode in the slammer."
"Oh, it could be so much worse," Rose sighed, not really wanting to hear about the two and their escapades in the cathedral prison. She knew that they talked about April, and yet, she still felt insecure. She could even admit the woman was a better creature than herself.
Xavier chuckled. "Nah, I'm sure I'll have plenty of company." He said, leaning over and kissing Rose gently on the cheek. "It could be worse. And I'll make it up to you when I get home, promise."
"Sure you will," Rose replied rather annoyed, "Just like these months of ignoring me for your vehicle?"
"I mean it Hades, I'll give up over 3/4ths of what I own to set him free so he can deal with her," Athena pleaded rather melodramatically . She really did not enjoy Rose's company.
Xavier rolled his eyes. "I thought we had agreed that we both had a part in that." He muttered under his breath before looking over at Hades. "Please take me away now." He pleaded.
"So it's my fault you hide the fact you talk to your ex daily and not even let me know about it?" Rose snapped back, "If you had actually told me then maybe I wouldn't be so upset about it. Also the fact she had to be sent by your mother because she probably has hopes you two will get together again, just really pisses me off."
"Sister, may you ask Hades if I can have a strong drink of Ambrosia," Athena pleaded.
Once again Xavier rolled his eyes. "Yes because I chose to have my mother take me home and beat the shit out of me for a week as training after that whole episode." He muttered under his breath. "And it's not exactly a new thing between she and I. I've known the girl for years, she's practically my sister now." Xavier was now getting annoyed. "And plus you'd only know that if you went snooping in my phone."
Dioynsis handed Athena a mug without a word. "You called?" He asked with a knowing smirk.
"To be fair, she snapped when the infernal opened his mouth," Athena commented dryly, "Shouldn't they just blame him?" that's when she saw Dioynsis and his booze. "Oh, thank you, Dioynsis."
"I actually didn't have to look through your phone. I don't even know your passcode," Rose retaliated, "Don merely told me what he knew. Also, couldn't your mother at least let you tell me that you were alive! I spent that whole week thinking you were taken and killed cause not a damn soul could tell me where you were. "
Xavier raised an eyebrow. He'd ask Don exactly what he said later. "My mother... well you'd have to ask her that question yourself." Xavier was clearly irritated as what had happened after the prison break was clearly not his choice. "She forbid me to have outside contact. Said it would ruin my focus on my training." He mused. "And I've said this a hundred times, April and I are not like that."
"It's a lovers quarrel, nothing more. Us immortals are apparently much better at sharing. Suppose that comes from having more time." Dionysis remarked with a knowing grin.
Kei glanced around the hall, letting out a small sigh as Rose and Xavier began to fight.
"Not like it's the first time this is happened, but.. Stop fighting, you two." She centered her gaze on the vampire, before flickering over to the nephalem. Her one-eyed scrutiny seemed devoid of any emotion. She crossed her arms, frowning. She turned to Athena, Persephone, and Hades with a semi-apologetic look.
"Not really," Lorenzo replied with a bored expression as he walked towards Athena. "Originally the nephalem pointed out that being trapped her couldn't be worse then having been trapped where he was with that infernal before, the only thing the other guy did was follow along, so you could say the boyfriend got himself stuck in this situation," he said as he sat on one of the bar stools. "Actually they both kind of brought it up but whatever, I would've thought you'd have more eye for those little details Athena."
"Yeah guys can't you stop arguing," Ken said with a slightly worried expression. "I mean this was supposed to be fun and that was a month ago already."
"Nah, it's fine," Artemis looked to Kei, "This is quite amusing. I wish we had some of that fluffy stuff the mortals call popcorn. I want to see which one breaks down first."
"Hit me with some more Ambrosia," Athena called out, "And Kei, don't apologize for the actions of others. Let them make fools of themselves if they so choose, but that red haired mortal's accent...I can't stand it."
"How can I trust you when you are obviously communicating with her behind my back?" Rose crossed her arms, starting to slowly back down, "You always knew who I was talking to and that's only because I don't know how to work technology all that well. I told you about my past and told you things no one else knew. What did I get? You keeping things from me. Also, Ken, shut up."
"Oh wow, she told the vampire who insulted Persephone to shut up," Asterea looked shocked yet in a mocking way, "She's a savage."
"Here you go," Loki offered the goddess some popcorn, his helmet under his arm. The god of mischief looked just as amused.
Kei was beginning to get irritated with Rose, her fists clenching. Letting out a sigh, the demigod rubbed at her medical eyepatch, her cursed iris beginning to itch underneath it. This would always happen whenever she got stressed out.
