"First thing he needs is a geography book," Rose mumbled to herself as she motioned for Kari to follow her, "Come with, sister. Shall we meet up soon, Xavier?"

Xavier nodded. "I'll text you." He said to Rose before glancing over at Don. "Let's go, you and I both have some serious work to do."

"Also, Rose hinted at me that she wants that dress that got ruined when we went to the club," Kari whispered to Xavier as she walked by him, "She also hates diamonds."

Xavier nodded, smiling brightly. He made a mental note of this. "Thanks. Owe you one." He whispered to Kari. "Let me know if you guys need anything."

From behind Don, a pillar of light would exude from the ceiling of the of mall. It was entirely unseen by all things not of the supernatural in the area, as evidenced by the lack of reaction from most of the shoppers. The smallish frame of a hooded person, whose garment obscured most of their face, appeared in a swirl of Celestial energy, accompanied by the fluttering speckles of white and gold energy.

The creature walked forward a few steps, stopping near the Infernal. When it spoke, its voice seemed to be a bit young - that of a teenager. "Hello, Doland..." The Celestial seemed to look up for a moment, then looked to the side and spoke angrily in a strange, almost indecipherable tongue. "Doland? Really, Ithuriel? You practiced that sixty-three times!" Ithuriel turned back to Donald. "Uh... hi, Dilan. Wait, not hi. Hello, Dilan... I just said Dilan, didn't I?"

Don was surprised at the Celestial's sudden appearance, and couldn't help but chuckle a bit when he saw it mess up his name multiple times. "It's Donald," he said, turning fully towards the Celestial, only to realize that no one else seemed to be able to see it. "Who are you?" he asked, his tone more serious now.

Ithuriel cleared her throat. "I am Ithuriel, a Messenger of Heaven. Fear not, for I mean you no harm," she summoned forth her wings, both of them spreading out slowly. "Uh, unless you don't fear me. In which case, I guess that doesn't apply here. Um... yeah."

Don was still a bit skeptical yet...he couldn't keep up with it at seeing how clumsy Ithuriel seemed to be. He ended up relaxing and letting out a slight laugh. 'You're new to your job aren't you?" he asked curiously before continuing. "I don't really have the best track record with most Celestials but I'll trust you, what is it?"

Ithuriel blushed a bit, looking down when Don was able to immediately guess that she was a newer angel. She let out a short breath before looking back to him. While her expression couldn't be seen, it was clear that she was more serious now. "The forces of Hell, you have come into contact with them. The demonic scourge of Archdemons Lilith and Astaroth has found its way to Earth. I have been sent by the Host of Heaven to give you and your kin guidance in the upcoming battle."

Don became a bit alarmed at the mention of Lilith, remembering their fight against her before. "So you were sent here to help us deal with her when we have to?' he asked with slight worry.

"Yes," Ithuriel responded. "The tides have turned. Lilith's power isn't fully accessible," she lifted her hand. "Her abilities are strong. But she is not the creature she is in Hell while on Earth. No demon is. There are many safeguards in this realm. And with the shift in the energetic tides, it will take her much longer to accrue the power she needs."

"So then what should we do to prepare?" Don asked with a raised eyebrwo.

"So, I'm not gonna be good at finding presents," Rose confessed to her sister, "I have no idea what to get Xavier, and I'm sure nothing I could get him though would be good enough." this was five minutes in after arriving at the mall. Kari already didn't want to deal with this. She wasn't sure if it was about the whole Xavier situation or if it was something deeper.

"At least you have someone to buy presents for..." Kari mumbled, trailing off. She ruined everything with Marcus and Oscar as it was, so at this point, she knew Christmas presents would make things worse. She hadn't heard from them and at this point, it would be awkward as well. She wasn't sure what to do and honestly, this was rather annoying as well as upsetting. She was supposed to have all the answers, and have everything figured out. When it came to her feelings though, she hadn't a clue. This wasn't the time for her mind to deal with this, nor was it the place. She couldn't make things better right now, and even then, how could she fix this? That's why she had a secret jealousy against her sister. No matter what bad happened to her, Rose always got the happy ending and whatever she wanted. Kari was the exact opposite.

"Give me some ideas on what Rose can get you," Kari texted Xavier as she quietly kept to herself.

Xavier was only half listening to the conversation between Don and the celestial or whoever she was. A couple of times, he had felt his hands moving towards the blades he kept inside his coat, but then he realized that the girl would have attacked before all this if that was her intent. He was about to offer some sort of input when his phone went off. From Kari, asking what he wanted for Christmas.

It was the issue that everyone in his life always seemed to have. When money was no object, most people just bought what they wanted when they wanted it. He considered this question for a moment and then he remembered that there was an easy answer. There's a new pair of Jordan sneakers that came out this week. He texted Kari before pulling up a picture of the shoes in question and adding it to the text. Size 11. He had been meaning to pick up the shoes for himself while they were at the mall, but he figured that he might as well let that be his Christmas present. Tell her to ask for a guy named Troy and have her explain that she's shopping for me. The rest will take care of itself.

Ithuriel closed her eyes. "I... wasn't disclosed that information. I had a very specific message to give you... uh, did I do well?" She looked a little worried. "I don't want to have a bad review."

"Uh...yeah," Don nodded his head, not really sure about how to react to what she had said. "You did really well, I'ms ure you'll get a lot better."

"Right, thanks. Is there any booze I can drink to numb my emotions? That's going to be for me later." Kari had sent the text and told Rose what she needed to go. "Actually, I might sit on the bench and wait for you. It shouldn't take long, right?"

"Right..." Rose trailed off as she looked to her sister, "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing," Kari lied smoothly as she gave a faux smile. "I just didn't get to sleep all that much while you were healing is all. I can afford to be lazy a little, right?"

"You know, you're a horrible liar, Kari," Rose spoke, "Come on, what's the matter?"

"I said it's nothing," the brunette spoke harshly as she glared towards the red haired woman. "Just get your business done so we can go." her sudden demeanor change had surprised the older sister, but she wasn't quite sure what was wrong. Without another word, she went into the nearest shoe store to get Xavier his present.

As Kari sat there, she appeared to be in a trance. All she saw was white, and massive amounts of blood pouring everywhere, starting to obscure her view. The phrase 'deliver me' kept being written but only to be covered by the blood. This wasn't anything she had seen before in a vision since it didn't appear to be of the past or the future. It felt all too familiar to her, but why wasn't she afraid? It was as if the vision had become a part of her being as well.

Wren had decided to give Alexis a break after thirty more minutes. Coming upstairs, she motioned to the bathroom. "Go freshen up and get some rest. You did well," she said to the younger Celestial.

When she turned, she heard the sound of... something outside of the door. A humming, the some engine. It silenced itself when she walked to the door. Before she could reach for the knob, a voice spoke from the other side. "YES, YOU HAVE A VISITOR."

She blinked, almost shivering at how clear the voice was.

"Oh my, how unexpected," Concordia said, walking forward. "Please, come in."

"THANK YOU."

When Wren turned, there was a person standing in the living room. An obviously feminine figure, clad in a black biker jumpsuit. On her head was a yellow helmet, with protrusions made to look like... cat ears.

"HAPPY TO SEE THAT YOU'RE IN GOOD HEALTH, CONCORDIA," the woman said in her hollow, yet somehow vast voice. It wasn't loud like Bob's, but something strange.

"And I'm happy to see you as well, Yamako. The years have been good to you," Concordia responded with a smile.

Wren just stood, blinking at the newcomer.

Kei arrived shortly through one of the sigils, holding a bag that contained the gift for her secret Santa. "Tadai...ma? Nani?" She mumbled, blinking at the unfamiliar person standing in the way. "Another demigod?"
