"So is that a no on the wine then?" Xavier asked with a frown. "And as for me, well you know how it is. The innocent suffer for the prejudices of the wicked." He sighed. "Its a lonely world out there for a filthy halfbreed."
"..I'm home," Raku called out as she entered the dark basement, expecting no reply back as usual. She set down the large silver case on a relatively decent-conditioned table, and then slumped into a chair before one of the large, shattered monitors. With half-lidded steely blue eyes, she examined the tarnished area around her. "Damn it.. I still haven't found out anything relative to the Life Fibers' origins today.. There's always tomorrow, but.. Then today would just be wasted, wouldn't it?" Spinning in the chair, she eventually slowed to a stop and withdrew the little crimson knife. "I'll know one day.. I have to, before I die. Or something just as worse." Raku cracked a wry smile, and got to her feet. The teenager slowly approached the counter, taking out a first aid kit from one of the cupboards. First things first, she had to tend to her more recent wounds.
"Just who are you then?" Don asked the Celestial, already being able to sense that she was one from the moment she appeared. "Are you the one that sent them after us?"
"Spare me your sob story. No one cares," Meldamiriel stood to her feet. "You're as irrelevant as this cretin," she pointed a thumb toward Don. "I'm surprised Liruliniel put up with the two of you for this long."

"That, I'm afraid, is up to you," Concordia said to Will. "My assistance extends to helping you past those who impede you from your true enemy. Nothing more."
"So, we're on our own after you get us into the cathedral," Wren said. Then, she looked at everyone. "Alright. We're going to need a plan going in. How do you guys want to play this?"
"Considering how hugely were out numbered we are in an enemy." Will said. "It might be best to avoid combat. So we should probably find our friends and get them out as quietly and quickly as possible."
"Well she's still the best one between the two of you in my opinion," Don pointed out bitterly, glaring at Meldamiriel. "I knew you gave me a similar vibe for some reason."

"Sure, I can do it," Ken nodded his head. "I'm not sure if I can withstand a lot of those seals if they have any to deal with creatures but I can move around a lot and my regeneration can give you guys some time."
"Yeah.. Just, uh, just give me a minute." Amaterasu responded, closing her eyes. The fact that she had to contact the two family members she resented the most really put a dampener on her mood, but their help was required.
...Tsukuyomi. Susanoo. We, uh, may need your help.
Xavier chuckled at the revelation. "No shit." He smiled. "I knew there was a rat in the house. However I never would have expected it to be her." He looked over at Don. "Suppose that's what we get for trusting a Celestial." He mused. "Mom was right. God why is my mother always right."
Meldamiriel closed her eyes with a small smirk. "Well, I'm not too surprised. I mean, she's the direct reason why both of your people have been hunted."
--
Tsukuyomi sat in a rock garden, meditating peacefully. At least, he would've been if his brothers weren't fighting so loudly. Kagotsuchi and Susanoo were busy going at each other's throats, ready to rip each other limb from limb because of an issue they found with the family pottery. "Honestly, can the two of you-" he was about to scold them before Ammy's telepathy reached him.
He was silent for a second before standing. "Susanoo," he called out.
The male stood, nodding to Tsukuyomi before turning to Kagotsuchi. "We'll duke it out later," he said to the dragon, getting a nod from him.
Then, the two beings stepped toward one another, morphing their bodies before they went rocketing into the sky as beams of energy, rushing toward the United States.
"Any minute now, and those two idiots will be here.." Amaterasu growled, crossing her arms.
Raku, having tended to the stomach wound, took the little knife and left the basement, stuffing her hands into the pockets of the letterman jacket. She managed to busy herself by wandering around the town, giving a harsh glare to anyone that dared to meet her eyes. After a while, she stopped by a nearby graveyard and sat down on the bench. "Man, this town ain't nothing but boring.." She sighed, closing her eyes in slight annoyance.
"Suppose that's the downside to the sheltered upbringing. I've been a fool. A trusting fool." Xavier quipped. He looked over at Don. "When you and I get out of here, you know I have to kill her right?" He asked rhetorically. "Out of respect for you, I'll at least make it quick and clean. I'm not one for torture."
"Are they strong?" Ken asked curiously as he glanced at Amaterasu. "Well I guess they must be if you're calling them."

Don glanced between the two for a moment, looking down in frustration before glaring at Meldamiriel. "Wren didn't sell us out," he stated, clenching his fists. "I'd rather believe her than believe you...she's not lik-" just as he was about to finish Alfonso came into his mind, causing him to bite his lip.
"We don't know if it's true though," Don argued back, glancing towards Xavier. 'She hasn't even confirmed or denied anything," he said as he pointed at Meldamiriel.
"She doesn't have to." Xavier said after a moment. "We're being held captive by exorcists. Anti-infernals. Who either are or work with Celestials." He rattled off. "And who in the house has Celestial blood in them? I'm sitting here in this prison, so clearly I'm not the rat. Which leaves Wren." He chuckled. "Simple logic."
