Grant Thompson was an American Youtuber who created a channel called The King of Random. The channel focuses on DIY projects and experiments involving large quantities of a single item. Thompson was originally the sole host, but two of his friends, Nate Bonham and Calli Gade, joined the channel. As of August 2019, the channel has around 2.5 billion views and 11 million subscribers.

Toni Morrison was an American novelist. She was best known for writing the Pulitzer Prize and American Book Award winning novel Beloved in 1988, which was adapted into a film starring Oprah Winfrey and Danny Glover in 1998. She won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1993 and she was given the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2012 by Barack Obama, among many other achievements. Other novels that she wrote include Song of Solomon and The Bluest Eye.

For her work on Mary Tyler Moore, she thrice received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, and later received the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on Rhoda.

Michael Lindsay

Born on May 9th 1963, his most notable roles included voicing Joe Kido and Agumon (for the first two episodes of the show before Tom Fahn replaced him) in Digimon, Urahara in Bleach (until he left and was replaced by Doug Erholtz) and Yamagata in the Pioneer dub of Akira.

His list of other appearances include shows and movies such as the Mobile Suit Gundam compilation films, the Disney version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Tokyopop/Studiopolis dub of Initial D, Zatch Bell! and Final Fantasy XIII. His last piece of voice work before retiring from the industry was providing Additional Voices for the Capcom game Dragon's Dogma.


Robert Axelrod

Born on May 29th, 1949, Power Rangers fans will remember Robert fondly for voicing the evil Lord Zedd in the original Mighty Morphin series but he too was also in Digimon voicing Armadillomon.

The list of other roles and appearances includes Mamo from the Streamline dub of Lupin the 3rd: The Mystery of Mamo, Rico from Robotech, Movor from Transformers: Robots in Disguise plus Akira, Rurouni Kenshin, the 90s Spider-Man cartoon, Fighting Spirit, Metropolis and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence.

Rudy Boesch was an American military veteran and reality TV personality. He had a distinguished career as a Navy SEAL, serving from 1945-1990. Rudy served in the Vietnam War and won a Bronze Star and a Defense Superior Service Medal. He was also known for competing on the popular reality TV series Survivor, competing in the series' first season, coming in 3rd place. He returned in Survivor: All-Stars, where he was the second contestant eliminated from the competition, placing 17th.

He was also the inventor of the Nerf football.
 
Retired Sesame Street puppeteer Caroll Spinney died yesterday at the age of 85. He was the puppeteer and voice behind iconic characters Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch from the show's creation in 1969 until his retirement last year.

In films, Auberjonois portrayed Father Mulcahy in MASH, the expedition scientist Roy Bagley in King Kong, and Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid, in which he sang "Les Poissons". In the American animated musical comedy film Cats Don't Dance, Auberjonois lent his voice as Flanagan, the human film director of "Li'l Ark Angel".
