Bob Gibson
Baseball Player
Robert Gibson was an American professional baseball pitcher who played 17 seasons in Major League Baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals. Nicknamed "Gibby" and "Hoot", Gibson tallied 251 wins, 3,117 strikeouts, and a 2.91 earned run average during his career. A nine-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion, he won two Cy Young Awards and the 1968 National League Most Valuable Player Award. Known for a fiercely competitive nature and for intimidating opposing batters, he was elected in 1981 to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. The Cardinals retired his uniform number 45 in September 1975 and inducted him into the team Hall of Fame in 2014.

Sean Connery died in his sleep while in the Bahamas. (Vale: Sean Connery | TV Tonight) He was James Bond in Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again (I have never seen James Bond in case you are wondering). I think he is the second James Bond to die after Roger Moore a couple of years ago.

Actually the third. Many forget David Niven portrayed Bond in 1967's Casino Royale

While not as big as the other celebrities here, anime dub voice actor Kirby Morrow, most famous for the dubbed voice of Miroku from Inuysaha has died at 47 years old.

This hurts for me a bit, I grew up with the Inuyasha dub and just to see this so unexpectedly is surprising.
